thats what is wrong with church folk today.. too worried about the person and cant see that God just anointed someone to encourage u & speak his blessings and word to u. So you go around missing the word of the lord b/c u too caught up in gender instead of tryin to understand what God wants to say to u ... We have only one instruction. To love the lord with all our hearts with your soul and with all our might and love one another as god has loved us.
Its not about us, or whether or not women are ment to preach. WHAT does that change. We have not been appointed keepers of the law. We have just been asked to love God and love each other. Period. Judge not and we will not be judged.
Lets leave the judging and debate and just love one another and praise God.

Wher does that scripture talk about a position of leadership?If the spirit is poured out on all flesh then that person will not disobey the scriptures and joel 2:28 was fullfilled in acts 2:15!If the spirit of GOD is poured out on a woman she wont be out of order,read the precepts.

This maybe true to a certain extent, but men are not stepping to the plate like they are suppose to so if God needs to use a woman he will. Search the scriptures for the great women and see how they lead also and how they are very vital and important

Mary Magdalene did not teach sripture or law niether did any other woman in the bible,you cant show me one woman that was called by God to teach people the scriptures or the law not one!!Prophesy is not Preach,not one prophetes was sent to prophecy against a nation or kingdom like a man was!You need to read your word and follow it,a man and woman role in the body is different but both are just as important and its not a womans place to be preaching the word of God because thers no example of it

You are right with your scriptures but do you understand them. I do not argue the word because your not suppose to but the scripture says "In the last days" which means that when it was written it had not come to pass (so no there would not be any women preachers but even then they still carried a word).and that is because we are now living in the last days where sons and daughters will prophesy and if you believe the word truly you believe this.

@brianbmf thank you for your comment. yes, i see your point and i agree with you. but your comment is not clear. teaching and guidance are two different things. deborah, the prophetess, was certainly offering guidance to men. look at the example of barak, who sought advice from deborah on how to lead. deborah was not teaching barak; she was acting in her role as judge and prophet. she did give him direction. i'm interested in knowing what you have to say about that example.

When the spirit is poured out on you like it says in acts 2:15 you will act in obedience Acts 5:32 which means a woman with the spirit poured on her will act in obedience to the book.1Ti 2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
1Ti 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.1Co 14:34-35..So if you have that spirit poured on you,you will obey these scriptures along with the rest of them!

Like I said I do not argue the word this is a self journey. I do not twist words I just understand what I am being taught, I went to noon prayer today and prayed for myself as well as you. Anybody that truly knows and understands the word, knows that God is a God of peace so all this going back and forth is going no where and if your spirit isn't right it could get tainted so God bless you.

you dont read your bible enough... look at esther and deborah... in the bible it also states in the last days his spirit will be poured out on all.. He made both genders so he uses both & it doesnt matter b/c the power is his no matter if male or female.. Brian take your eye off the person in the natural & set your spirit in the spiritual! Ask God to reveal it to u b/c u were told wrong & u dont know enough to prove it otherwise!

In 1Cor 1:25-27 it says the Foolishness of GOD is Wiser than men and the weakness of GOD is stronger than men. 4 GOD hath chosen the foolish things of this world 2 confound the wise. Isa 64:6 We are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are like filthy rags. This is an anointed woman of GOD inspite of her wrongdoing she is still anointed. Any tongue that rises up against her shall be condemned. We are supposed 2 lift each other up in the body of Christ not tear each other down.
