We (Two Year College Honor Choir) were the first to perform this in 1996 at the ACDA Conference in Dallas Texas.  It was written for SATB. The sound was more full. James Mulholland wrote this in honor of his father.

Ah, yes...another Mulholland setting with so many added non-chord tones that the potential simplicity and grace of the work is absolutely destroyed.

On second listen (and some fiddling around with the score on the piano), I've grown to kinda like the piece - but I still have plenty of reservations.
