Opera 11 will definitely have hardware acceleration, extensions, and they will be the first web browser on Android devices to support hardware acceleration and it will also support the pinch-to-zoom feature as well. Right now Opera 11 is in alpha. No acceleration yet :(

opera 11 doesn't have hardware acceleration planed, but we will probably see it after 11.

fastforward to the future and we have opera 10.60 and still no hardware acceleration. in that span of time should have been out by now.
