If they get enough fan support and people attending their games (and hopefully watching them) anything can happen. Boise State's only been in the FBS like 17 years and I know GSU can generate more support financially than Boise State.
I don't know what game nquiringminds watched but I was at game 2 and the Pathers were fantastic. Game 2 wasn't a win but they made some damn good plays. GSU's Panthers have been consistently exciting - when they win and when they lose. Go Panthers!!!
@nquiringminds well for a first year program they're not doing too bad. fans should expect some hiccups. hopefully this doesn't discourage you from supporting the Panthers in the future!
