each time i watch discovery or animal planet i see the same shitty chimps and lions, never this, too bad there are so many beautiful amazing animals to be found, and they almost never show things like this.
@moormandrm He's driving me mad calling them that - what dumb-ass script writing. We're not 1 year-old children! Honestly he says it like 20 times :*( STOP IT man! It's SO patronising.
@Gritzaable wow u would say lamo that shows that all u do is watch youtube u are probibly sitting down eating mcdonolds and getin fuckin fat by eatin that and on you tube non stop 24 7
@moormandrm complete and utter moron...nope i'm not fat but i would actually love a Maccy D's right now though; might have to get one when i drive to work later for lunch, but anyhow please stop your retarded nonsense and actually try to not talk like a 6 year old with your spasticated grammar.
@moormandrm absolute moron once again, its a nickname that the local gives them you dumb fuck... if you had ears and actually understand any shit that goes into your head we wouldn't be having this convocation.
OK he can just say arowana but he say water monkey.
he can say arapiama but he says pirarucu.
his calling puca, tambaqui i know using native names is more connective but I don't find it usual its not that much of a documentary cuz I saw the full episode and its pretty brief on what the amazon really is.They did not show behaviors of the different catfish and they only showed the rainy season not the dry season when its an alien world with fresh sponges its and alien world on dry season
@commonSagitario actually this was filmed mostly in Brazil, so he is correct in using the name "pirarucu" instead of "arapaima". That's the portuguese name of the fish. Also, there are many species of pacus, one of them being the tambaqui. It's not an obscure native name, it's THE name of that fish throughout the country. But I agree with the water monkey thing, that's pushing a bit... the name of it is aruanã.
hi...very nice video...heres the deal: im opening a new local fish shop here in brasilia, brasil and was wondering how i could purhcase this video...do u know how i might get it by any chance?
i always knew pacu will come out!!! hahaha so cute!!!!!
