  • So let's say I'm at the judgment seat. Lets say I spent my whole life murdering people but all the while I believed in Christ. Are you telling me that god is just going to say," Heh, heh. Don't worry about it. My grace took care of all your shenanigans. Killing those people only would have been wrong if you didn't believe in me." Are you saying it's more important to sit on your ass and say you believe rather than try to help your fellow man if you have the means?

  • Hey! Nice herpes on your lips! Someones been misbehaving!

  • so all i have to do is believe and I don't have to do good works?? so in other words I can have faith in jesus and steal and do whatever I want? this should be easy.

  • @yellowcorba1 Its easy because Jesus Paid it all! If Jesus is the Lord of your life can you dishonor Him with no shame or repentance? Stealing as a follower of Christ is like having an affair and claiming to love your wife.... Works are evidence of Faith, not a payment for justification... If you examine James 2:17 and Ephesias 2:8-9 they can go hand in hand for a cohesive meaning (but mormons refuse Eph because it opposes their doctrine.) Choose mormon doctrine or Word of God

  • @ssuperbill2 But are we all not prone to sin?

  • @yellowcorba1 Thats a silly question....of course we do! But this debt of sin is not paid or made right by doing good things... When a child gets a grease stain on their new shirt, all attempts by the child can be made to clean up the mess but the reality is they only spread it around, cover it up or try to play dumb about it. See Isa 64:6 to see what God thinks of our good deeds in hopes of tipping the scale or paying our debt for sin.

  • @ssuperbill2 Yeah but if you don't Do good deeds and have faith your heart is not right with god and all your prayers are vain. Mathew 25: 40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. John 14: 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. He also said in Isaiah that people draw close to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

  • @yellowcorba1 I believe these verses but the interpretation is twisted...I would challenge a mormon to read the book of Galatians (KJV) with an open heart and mind and in prayer seek the truth of God's Word. Galatians is a short book that addresses so many mormon questions and doctrines and can easily be read in one sitting.

  • These guys never have read John or the Acts of the Apostles. Jesus implies WORKS everywhere! the way they teach what Mormons believe is not right, correct, fact or accurate.

  • If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. John 15.10

  • I am not 'pro Mormon' in the slightest. However, citing Romans 3 is a mistake. The NT/OT does claim there were 'righteous' men (Such as Noah and Joseph). And James chapter 2 says, "We are saved by works and NOT BY FAITH ALONE." Works, done in and thru grace, ARE necessary to MAINTAIN a state of grace.

  • "You understand that? And I contempt for the truth. Not talk down on anyone."

chinaculiacan. Just look at some of her comments to realize how much she lies.

"My observation of this girl is that she is too aggressive. She loves Jesus but she is not following him and abiding in him. She needs to have contentment inside her. Peace inside her. "

    TheSoulamore.

NowadaysSoulamore is saying that she likes chinaculiacan because they both are against the lds church.

  • After watching this I'm sorry that I'm following the New Testament of Jesus warning us that we will be judged according to our works in the last days out of the book of life, maybe I shouldn't believe in the Bible anymore; apparently it's leading me away from God. :P

  • Type in "Religion and Redemption - part 01.avi" into the youtube search engine and you will find the whole documentary. Redemption comes only by the blood of Jesus Christ, not by works!! God Bless you! =]

  • LOOKS TO ME, WORKS IS PRETTY IMPORTANT BUT WHO AM I TO NOTICE THAT MOST SO CALLED CHRISTIANS TODAY DON'T BELIEVE THAT. I GUESS ITS JUST EASIER TO HAVE A PAID MINISTRY AND PUT THE HANDS ON THE TV AND SEND THE MONEY IN. WORK? HOW DARE THOSE MORMONS THEY MIGHT END UP DOING SOME GOOD.

  • @scottwins2 To those verses: Amen! No one says that works are not important, that we shouldn't do them, or that a true Christian will have them. That is not the point. The point is that, just as the Jews depended upon their righteous works through the Mosaic Law for justification, so do many LDS depend upon their own works for right standing by God. This is not to say they don't believe it takes grace to be saved - they do - however, they believe that their works are necessary for salvation.

  • @BEggerton Point is, I never ever here a Born Again, Bible Thumper or Minister of the Faith!!! Ever, ever talk about WORKS! Ever.

  • @scottwins2 Its called Love....its not a payment, a debt owed, a chance to get in good with God, to earn a greater thrown, to get a temple recommend, or for honor but in Christianity works = Love.

  • @BEggerton I know of no Mormons that believe in works alone as you have stated. This is not our doctrine.

As for right standing by God? If obeying the Ten Commandments, the Great Commandments, His teachings in The Bible wrtten down by the deciples, Jesus requires works, Why the Saduccees said, "we don't commit adultry"! He said, "that is not enough". Most minsters today teach only a fraction of the Bible it seems since they always dodge Works, If acknowleged it would justify, The MORMONS!

  • @scottwins2 Galatians 3:1-3: " You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. 2 I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard? 3 Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?"

So basically all I am saying is that works do not contribute to salvation, they are a result of salv.

  • @BEggerton John 5:17

"But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work".

and I shall work, sit onyour hands if you want. "Faith without works is dead".

  • @scottwins2 First of all: I agree with those verses. Works are a result of salvation. If you aren't doing any, then a heart check is necessary. Secondly: You are working for God's approval. The Bible clearly teaches that we have God's approval ALREADY in Christ. Therefore to continue to work "for approval" goes totally against God's grace. Thirdly: What makes you think that those "works" talked about in the Bible is Baptism for the dead and other temple work, as the LDS believe?

  • @scottwins2 It is not as the LDS church says, "After all we can do". Jesus doesn't come in after you've done your best to keep the commandments - and cover those few sins you didn't cancel by being obedient. James says - ONE little sin has the same effect as breaking every one of God's Laws. Don't you see? Even under MORMON belief - Jesus has to PAY IN FULL the fine for your lawlessness - because there's no such thing as a few leftover little sins for Jesus to atone for. It's ALL or NOTHING.

  • @Chinaculiacan Following Christ? He wants us to try. he just doesn't give it to us, sorry.

  • James 2:18

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

    James 2:20

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

  • Matthew 16:27

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works

    John 6:28

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

    Matthew 5:16

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven

  • Me resulta extraño tanta atención a una sola iglesia de tantas que hay para tratar este tema. Dejennos en paz. Joseph Smith y Brigham Young no estan en esta vida más para poder defenderse.

  • So when Jesus said, if you love me, keep my commandments ... he didn't really mean that. Is that what you're saying? I think that it is better to believe in the Bible and to follow Christ than to listen to a religion which says it doesn't matter whether you sin or not or whether you repent or not. The Bible clearly teaches something else.

  • People adhering to often- mentioned "righteous living" in mormonism usually neglect to look into well-documented lives of lds founders. Smith and Young were incredibly boastful, lustful, dishonest, greedy men.. "Squeaky clean" modern-day lds -you suppose that you are earning peace with God? Sorry, you have pride in your hearts.. and are sadly misinformed. J Smith and B Young were disgraceful men, certainly seemed unconcerned about pleasing God with righteous living of their own.

  • These ministers should read Ephesians, its where Christ started a relgion.

  • @scottwins2 Jesus is the church. Therefore Joseph Smith was driven by the wrong spirit when he started another religion.

  • @TheSoulamore You sound like a prophet, telling us such. Joseph Smith was a prophet.

  • @scottwins2 No. Jesus dwells in me. He tells you truth. You are hurting people. Today you should look for revelation not toward your religion and Elders. Jesus only!

  • @TheSoulamore He dwells in you? How can he do that he has a body. Luke 24:39

Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have."

  • @scottwins2 He said unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood you will have no part of me. How do you think you can do that? or was that scripture taken out of your bible?!

  • @scottwins2 He expalins the Sacrament as is not literal, Mary saw him resurrected with a body. So what does he do with his body when he is in you? Please answer the question.

  • I have een up front wth you but refuse to play your word games so you can skirt the issue, your assertions are not accrate, since Joseph Smith had them and had eight witnesses to assure his integrity to there existance, David Whitmer, Oliver cowdery, Martin Harris and 5 others. ever heard of Short Hand? The Book of Mormon takes great effort to talk about room on those plates so what they called Reformed Egyptian was used as the writng language.

  • If you look you will find that plates were used anciently, The Plates of King Darius were 2 of pure gold ad 2 of pure silver, very nice Cina produced many and more are coming out of Central America.

Grace yes, "...but after all you can do.

  • @scottwins2 Yes some did write small Biblical scriptures on many materials, you see back in the day when someone wrote a letter or anything they would include a piece of scripture. Why do you think that today we have thousands of pieces of scripture found all over to help support the Bible. This was just the etiquette of that day, why then did these ways not pass over to the Americas and we not find these here to support the BOM?

If it is Grace after anything we can do then Jesus died in vein!

  • @Exodus314IAM The Roman Soldiers were given a substantial set of Plates bound tighly when they retired, it showed there accomplishments, rank etc. They did bring with them there records, metal records were met to last along time these wre the more important records. You can learn more than i can write on here at failds.org

  • @scottwins2 There has never been any complete Biblical books written on metal plates, only verses. To write a complete book from the Bible would be to heavy and big to keep, this is the big hole in Joseph lie about the BOM and how he interpreted it.

We can learn way more from the truth, which is in the Bible.

  • @Exodus314IAM You did not address what i just wrote you. Shawn has said there is no record at all on any plates at ALL!!!! Why do you let Shawn off so easily. I proved there are plates thats all. You say Joseph was a liar where is your prove? He had 3 witnesses that saw the Angel and the Plates why do you not here them? Another 5 witnesses that saw the plates and so signed there names to the fact. Where are your witnesses , I say heresay from the mob and the press that inflamed the hearts.

  • @scottwins2 What does Shawn have to do with this conversation? I was talking to you, this is between you and me with the truth at stake not what someone else feels or thinks. There are plates, none with book just maps or small parts of scripture. Even with the Dead Sea Scrolls they found a small silver plate with King Davids teasures written on them, not no books or Biblical writings there on plates.

Now the witnessess? not one would actually say they looked at the plates, not one...

  • Martin Harris? after witnessing the plates left the LDS? then came back after David Whitmer took over? why?

Oliver Cowdery? He accused Joseph Smith of adultery and heresy? Cowdery was excommunicated from the LDS Church? why?

Then David Whitmer? Look up Hiram Page’s peep-stone for him and Cowdery? He also was excommunicated fro the LDS Church? why?

    Look this up for yourself!

    God Bless!

  • @Exodus314IAM “Yebarekah Yehovah ‘vyishmerekah: “Yáer Yehovah ‘eleykah ‘vihunekah:“Yisa Yehovah panav ‘eleykah ‘vyasem lekah shalom.” But you may recognize them in English:“The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: “The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: “The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.” These words, from Numbers 6:24–26, were recently translated from two silver scrolls dating back to the seventh century B.C By Gabriel Barkay

  • @scottwins2 That is great, I love how the scripture can come alive. I never said there was no scripture written on metal plates, I did say there were no complete books ever written on metal plates. I also said there were no plates containing scripture found in Qumran. I was just showing how not only was that not practiced but it was not even possible to write complete Biblical or BOM books on metal plates. The weight and size would be to much to handle by man.

  • @Exodus314IAM I did not say that, you don't know that, where are your facts? Shawn says there ever were anyone to write on plates a ALL! I say there is evidence of that, which I showed? Why does Shawn get a pass on his statements? The Book of Mormon had 3 witnesses who attached there names to every book Martin Harris, Oliver Cowdery, David Whitmer, then you have 5 others that handled the plates. have you considered there testimonies of the facts. No it appears not nor will you address it.

  • Did this film never get off the cutting floor? Where can I go to see it? It looks great.

  • @blackblade789 We are just now nailing down distribution! We're working with Living Hope Ministries, the same company that did the Bible vs. the Book of Mormon documentary. It is amazing to see what God has been doing through this film so far, and only a handful of people have seen the completed product as of right now.

  • It is amazing what ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE can do for your understanding.

  • but I like the music

  • We in the Lds Church are not told that we are perfect and that we will always fall short of gods grace, but we are saved by the teachings and sacrifice of Jesus Christ we follow the law to help us avoid sin we do works to spread our belief like Jesus did. No Mormon is perfect not all Mormons are nice and respectable some Mormons are fanatics that would do anything void of reason for the church but that is not what defines us the defining factor in our believe is and always will be Jesus Christ

  • This movie is garbage.

  • @LDStothecore

....the only garbage is the LDS religion.

  • @hammer7629 GOOD COMEBACK. TOO BAD YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.

  • @LDStothecore

Want to place a wager on that? lol The days of the LDS controlling information about their church are over. The LDS religion was founded by an occult practitioner; it began with a lie by a liar and the Brethren perpetuate the lies; therefore, it's a garbage religion.

All caps (screaming) is a sure indicator you have nothing of consequence to say so you simply make noise.

  • @Jack44M I don't bet, but I know the LDS Church is true. It's only sad that you refuse to humble yourself. Were you excommunicated?

  • @Jack44M well said

  • @LDStothecore The mormon myth of Smith is sleazy & sick, proud & presumptuous, twistology of theology & sedition of addition, blasphemy & heresy, in short, it is anti-Christ. Come out if you still possess your soul!

  • @Shulamitefire Sad that you people have a need to mock and belittle others.

  • @LDStothecore What?? How did you get that out of this video? Just because if causes you to think and the doubts in you for the LDS ways come to surface. Seek the truth, Seek God!

  • @Exodus314IAM I have zero doubt about the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have a relationship with God and He has blessed me more than I can say.

  • @LDStothecore You have a relationship with God, that is great but which god? Jesus, the Father or the Holy Spirit? I would like to know how God has blessed you also?

  • @Exodus314IAM The God of the Bible.

  • @LDStothecore Ok I hope that is true, let's see...Joseph Smith stated, "I wish to declare I have always and in all congregations when I have preached on the subject of the Deity, it has been the plurality of Gods" or one God Isaiah 43:10; 44:6,8; 45:5,14,18,21,22; 46:9; 47:8; John 17:3; 1 Cor. 8:5-6; Gal. 4:8-9. Brigham Young said, "How many Gods there are, I do not know. But there never was a time when there were not Gods..."

  • I am not attacking, I am just bringing the truth and the truth will set us all free. God (not gods) gave His ONLY Son so that we all can be saved (John 3:16) knowing that we could not do it ourselves. It is our Faith alone that saves us not what we DO (Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 3:20, 28; Gal. 2:16), it is called Grace. Then the saved will DO what God likes to respect our Saviour (James 2:24; Mat. 19:16-17).

    Trust God!

  • @Exodus314IAM Your point?

  • @LDStothecore I think the point is clear, are you following the God of the Bible or the gods of Mormonism? You better be sure, this is your eternity you are risking, yours and your family!

    Seek the truth, Seek God!

  • @Exodus314IAM I DO follow the God of the Bible. And I am sure.

  • @LDStothecore Hmm so was your god a man once like us "flesh and bone" (D&C 130:22). Where in the Bible does it say this? Also how many gods are there (Journal of Discourses 7:333) are there many gods or only one God Isaiah 43:10; Psalm 90:2).

Are you sure you follow the only one God or the gods of Mormonism?

Are You 100% sure? I know if you are LDS you cannot be.

    Seek the truth.

  • @Exodus314IAM You are only trying to start an argument. You should know that not everything is in the Bible. It even says in the Bible that if everything Jesus did were written there would not be enough room to whole it all in the world.

  • @LDStothecore The Bible tells us that Christ's work for our salvation is complete. We do not need any further revelation about God's plan of salvation, for by His death and resurrection Jesus did everything necessary to bring salvation to us. The Bible says God "has given us everything we need for life and godliness" (2 Peter 1:3).

Sorry if you feel I am trying to argue, I am not, I am just bringing the truth in Jesus and the Bible to you!

  • @Exodus314IAM You are incorrect. There are thousands of Christian religions and almost no one agrees. God is NOT the author of confusion and He would not approve of ever doctrine.

  • @LDStothecore Really? this shows how little you know about Christianity, being a Christian has nothing to do with "religion" it is 100% a relationship with God alone. Not how we can earn our salvation but how being saved we can honor our Lord and Saviour.

Seek the truth, seek a true relationship with the only God!

  • @Exodus314IAM You don't understand. Are you apostate?

  • @LDStothecore No I am not "apostate" I know the truth, God has made it very clear to me. I feel very blessed that God has picked me to not only know the truth but to share it with other like yourself. Seek the truth, the truth will set you free my friend, the truth will set you free (John 8:32)!!

    God Bless!

  • @Exodus314IAM Chirst built a church when he was here on earth, he chose 12 apostles as the foundation and he the corner stone, he chose Seventies, Evangilist, Pastors and Teachers, Deacons. Why? in Ephesians it says, "...for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry and the edifyng of the body of Christ."when the apostles were killed one by one they actually chose another Barnabas to keep the leadership going. see lds.org or fairlds.org

  • @scottwins2 So then how many foundations to you need to build a church? how many main corner stones do you need? the answer is Jesus alone no man just Jesus. As for Ephesians 4:12 you must read in context, "So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers" why? to equip His people "the saints" to build up the body or the church on the foundation of the prophets & apostles of old who bring us the word, books, the Bible!

    See the Bible! Seek God!

  • @LDStothecore There are also hundreds - if not thousands - of sects that all splintered off of Joseph Smith, such as the RLDS, FLDS, and numerous other polygamous groups. All of these claim Joseph Smith to be their founder and to be the one and only "True Church", so your argument doesn't work.

  • @BEggerton Though a true prophet, there were not hundreds or thousands of splinter groups that came out Joseph Smith I can come up with about 5 with 2 having any real membership 2 of these five went into oblivian. and there is a small group today up in the Lake Michigan area, two sisters run it I believe. for more you can go to lds.org or fairlds.org

  • @scottwins2 As you said only a few having the truth, Christianity has been around for thousands of years and yse some have used the title Christian to twist the truth and that is the apostacy that is being talked about in the Bible. But there are still many that bring the truth and it has not tried to translate the word of God but bring it to the people as a pure truth (see the dead sea scrolls).

For more you can go to the Bible.

  • @Exodus314IAM Peter makes no reference to the Bible it did not exist Peter was speaking of the gospel he was teaching at the time not the Bible, the Bible as you know it did not exist until 150 yrs after Christ means "Library of Books", its Greek. so you see when Peter wrote this the Bible did not exist so if thats the case putting the Llibray of Books together would go against Peters own wish. Moses refered to Books of the Wars of the Lord, Book of Jasher, Book of Nathan and Gad in. lds.org

  • @LDStothecore "Sad that you people have a need to mock and belittle others." Such is ※exactly※ that which the LDS church does frequently & systematically in bearing ※blatant※ false witness against the blessed & beloved body & bride of CHRIST. And it is done as sleaze!

Sincerity of Belief Can Never Create Truth※Truth is always above deception no matter how comforting those deceptions can be! JESUS beckons you to the core to come to HIM. The KING desires to raise you up as a torrid Truth-teller!

  • @Shulamitefire I bet you don't have a religion. You only want to argue, so I will no longer respond to you.

  • @LDStothecore I think that you are even lying to yourself. Are you scared it would cost too much to exit the Monson movement of Moroni? Is loyalty more important to you than honesty? Is Christ not worthy that you should forsake the masquerade & counterfeit & insecurity of not knowing whether your name is actually written in the Lamb's Book of Life? More Mormon makeup is more Mormon make believe. King Jesus desires more of you than that of the church concoction & claptrap that is Smith's Myth..

  • Great video...

  • If you never questioned your beliefs, you are just a puppet being controlled by somebody else. If God had wanted your mindless obedience, you would've been created without mind and without free will. But you have both so you can come to God of your own accord. Good Video!

  • @willeilers1 Glad you like it! I would agree with you on every point you made with the exception of whether or not we can come to God on our own accord. Scripture is very clear that we are dead in our sins (Eph. 1), do not seek after God (Romans 3), and cannot come unto God unless God himself draws us unto himself and takes the blinders off of our eyes. John 6:44 says, "No one can come to me unless the Father draw him."

  • @BEggerton Ah but if you have accepted Jesus as your Savior then you are a new creation and your sins are forgotten. I'd be interested to know what your thoughts on Jeremiah 29:13 are... I was speaking in the less literal sense of doing something like daily prayer, staying in the word, things of that nature.

  • @willeilers1 "So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy." Romans 9:16

  • Mormonism is a cult, just as Islam is.

Come on, how can anybody believe that bit about "golden tablets" and those special goggles that could read some special hieroglyphics? That's the same as Muhammad's babbling when due to his illness.

(I'll probably get banned for this, but nobody can prove otherwise)

  • Sin is created by man, an illusion, and a form of social control. Religion is for the weak. Existentialism, the philosophy that states that life is meaningless other than the points defined by the individual, exists in all of us; the difference being that religious individuals have the points made for them. Religion has killed more men, both figuratively and literally, than anything else in the existence of mankind. You may say you'll pray for me, just remember, that you are prey to me.

  • Modern Counter-Cult Christians today: "All you need to do is say this prayer, Jesus, I am a sinner, please forgive me, come into my heart and save me, I confess you as my savior, thank you, amen! Once you prayed this prayer, you are saved because it is by the grace of God, nothing you can do!"

Yet, Christ stated in the Gospels several times - Love one another, keep my commandments, bear up your cross, do the works of righteousness... So, who is lying? You or Christ? Seriously think about this

  • @TimothyRBerman

What are Jesus' commandments? What are the works of God? Answer that, and I'll show you the verses which contain the answers explicitly.

  • @TimothyRBerman Indeed, I totally agree with you Timothy. As the filmmaker of this documentary, I by no means support the heresy of "Easy-Believism" in which all one has to do is say a prayer and they'll be saved. A prayer is not what saved you, faith is not confessing a creed. Faith is translated from the Greek word "Pistis" which means trust/reliance. Rather, when coming to Christ we must as the old hymn says, "Nothing in my hands I bring, Simply to the Cross I cling".

Seriously think about this.

  • We all want to know when this will be done. Driscoll and McCraney in the same video? It's like chocolate and peanut butter in a single candy.

  • The entire premise of this movie and what then becomes it's message is based on a misinterpretation of a single word: "faith".

    What does it mean?

Based on this trailer, the definition of faith is a mental only but not bodily function (impossible).

Faith equals action or activity driven by a belief.

You can't say you have faith in Christ and not change.

So what if our Mormon friends believe in Chris and they try to act like it by keeping commandments? We should spend more energy testi

  • @seansd Faith and works are not one and the same. Yes, true faith will work. I totally agree with you there. However, the Bible differentiates between faith and works multiple times. Faith simply means "trust, reliance", and if your belief is that your own good works contribute at all to your acceptance or right standing with God, then you are dreadfully mistaken.

  • Glad I'm leaving false Mormonism after 50 years of brainwashing FOREVER! Keep praying for those still imprisoned there! Your prayers are working, Christians.

  • if all it takes is faith, why did Christ get baptized? there is more to it than just having faith and being good. you must follow the example of Christ and be baptized, and there's only one place where you can find the true authority of God to receive baptism. It all boils down to the Book of Mormon. only one church has it. if the book is true, the LDS church is true. if it's not, it's not. Period. and there ain't no proof to be had, if it could be proven then what's the point in believing?

  • @beefyoso so find out for yourself if it's true, or don't. we'll all know for sure sooner or later. what boggles my mind is people like mccraney and the yahoos making this video who spend all their time attacking the LDS faith. do people really believe that a true messenger of Christ would act like that? John 12:34-35. is mccraney really acting like a follower of Christ? I don't think so. I think Matt 7:22-23 fits him better. by their fruits ye shall know them.

  • @beefyoso Christ spoke out against false teachers and wolves in sheep's clothing, which is exactly what Latter-day Saints are. My dear friend, you have been taken captive by the false teachings and lies of Joseph Smith, I pray that God would set you free from your chains and bring you into the Marvelous Light that is found in knowing Christ Jesus my Lord! Read Philippians 3:2-9.

  • @BEggerton Christ did not have an attack ministry. He taught of peace. John 13:34-35 (I mistyped before) You can not have an attack ministry and claim to be of Christ. Pray for my soul, and at the day of judgment if I was wrong you can say "I told you so" In the mean time, start doing things that would please Christ instead of the other guy. 3 Nephi 11:29 For verily, verily I say unto you, he that hath the spirit of contention is not of me, but is of the devil, who is the father of contention.

  • @beefyoso For you to think of baptism like that means you have absolutely no idea what the point of it is. There is no saving power in that water. It's just water. Baptism is a symbol of what is happening internally. Your old man is crucified with Christ, and you are a new creature. This is done through the imputation of Christ's righteousness through the agent of faith, by grace.

  • @BEggerton You didn't answer my question. Why did Christ get baptized? You claim it's meaningless. Well then why did he do it? I'll tell you why --> 1 Peter 2:21, Matt 3:13-15. You read the bible and think you all have it figured out. I ask: Who are you to tell me what I should do? By what authority do you correct me? Like I said, if BoM = true then LDS = true. I'm not going to bother to testify that to you. Your channel is filled with anti mormon propaganda, and you have your mind made up.

  • @beefyoso The reason that Jesus Christ was baptized essentially boils down to the fact that it was the Father's will. In addition we have to look at the context. Historically, as one of the conditions of becoming a proselyte (someone who has become a Jew), the person had to immerse himself in water and be circumsized and offer a sacrifice. By being baptized in this way, he was acknowledging the truth of this message and siding with righteousness. That my friend, is why Christ was baptized.

  • We all sinned (Romans 3:23). Im responsible for my sin. I was bent towards sin through adam, being the representative of the human race; we're all just like him in every way (Romans 5:12). In my blind state, enslaved to sin (John 3:19-21; Romans 6, 7; Ephesians 2:1-4) I cannot choose to drop my sin and trust God; I love darkness and hate light. So God, in love, saves who He so desires of no merit of our own (Romans 9:14-18; Ephesians 2:5-8). Through that grace I am saved, not by ANY work I

  • @OliverJamesC Least any we should boast

  • so someone who murders people steals money etc. can just say "i have faith in jesus christ" and then be saved and then someone else that helps millions of peoples lives says the same thing and then, they recieve the same reward? thats ridiculous. at least mormons make sense by saying your works determine what happens after this life. this is such an irresponsible way of taking life

  • When is this available for viewing! I would LOVE to see this! I get chills from the trailer!

  • i am going to sit here and sit,and do nothing and i will let Jesus do all the Work; I will sit here and Watch Jesus do all the Work.......I will do nothing but sit here........so Jesus can save me. Cause I am just sitting here waiting.......for Jesus to carry Me into Heaven.....I will do nothing but sit here and wait.........?!

  • @wildricky40

YEP. This is the old "Southern Baptist Mentality", too! Sit on that gravestone (or headstone, or tombstone) and just wait until you die: because there is nothing more to do. ALL OF THE WORK has been done, for you, already! (You lazy-ass bastards: whoever you are!)

    LOL

  • there is no god suck iy up, if you want answers look to the stars not imaginary people made by man, suck it up suckers its the big dirt nap

  • I get mad when I watch Brian at 1:45. I bet he is a great individual. I'm willing to bet he has never killed anyone or raped anyone. Yet he feels absolutely condemned to hell in his current state. I've seen this all too much and it makes me mad!

  • @dreamextreme7

Well, you gotta get to the point where you feel like a worm.

    O, GOD! I AM JUST A WORM!

(There! I think I feel better, already! At least I feel more like a night-crawler, for what that's worth)

  • part 2... The Spirit will never lead us to sin (transgression of Yahweh's will). Romans 8:12-15 speaks of the Spirit putting an end to the deeds of the body or the old man. In the Old Covenant, sin was a works issue to condemn all mankind as sinners and worthy of death. This made grace a necessity if we were to be saved. In the New Covenant, sin is a faith issue. Law breaking was nailed to the cross to allow Jeremiah 31:31-36 to begin.

  • I find the issues of faith/works goes much deeper than a faith vs. works debate. I left the LDS church for the same reasons I left pagan Christianity (Christmas, Easter, Sun-worship Day services, etc.). I agree we can never earn salvation, otherwise there would be no grace. Salvation is a gift to those who believe in Yahshua Deutoronomy 18:15 and fulfills the Covenant of Promise given to Abraham. However, a faith without the Holy Spirit leading us in commandment keeping is a fairy tale belief.

  • @curethemind Certainly, faith without works is dead. Works are not what justify us, however. Faith is the agent that God uses to impute Christ's righteousness and perfect fulfillment and keeping of the Law unto us. So that is where I would disagree with you, the Holy Spirit will not be leading us after following a commandment or a rule or a Law, but rather it gives us a new nature that genuinely hates sin... being conformed to the image of Christ.

  • @BEggerton

Imputed righteousness is the biggest damn lie that you and your fellows can invent! There is nothing in the New Testament that "imputes" anything! It also means that one is not really responsible for their actions: either good or bad!

I cannot be responsible for any good that I might do, and I am not ultimately responsible, for any evil I might do. That is just a filthy doctrine, with no foundation.

When you mature enough to take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for yourself, come and talk.

  • @curethemind Also, you have to realize that Christianity is not pagan just because some of the holidays the people recognize originate from a pagan history. God does not look at pragmatics, but rather looks at our heart. I'd say the heart of every genuine Christian who celebrates Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Christ, and nothing else. Nothing they do shares a heart motive similar to that of the Historic pagans whatsoever.

  • Where do I go to see this? How can I get a copy?

  • I wanna see this!

  • When is this documentary scheduled for release?

  • I agree with Sandra Tanner. It is easy to realize that Mormonism is not what it claims to be, but because of that cultural connection and the friendship you have with other Mormons, it is tough to let go of. However, when you can honestly admit that you cannot be one with God and part of the LDS Church and you choose God, it feels so powerful.

  • Hey guys, this looks really great! It touches the heart strings! My heart breaks for anyone who tries to work and earn what Christ is offering for free! My heart breask for catholics, like yours breaks for Mormons. This documentary looks really depressing, just because it deals with real people trapped in a cult, but it also looks REALLY powerful and inspirational. I don't usually buy movies brand new, but I will CERTAINLY order this one and share it with everyone I know! God bles you guys!

  • Interesting take on religion, really.

It begs the question, "Why did Christ organise a church in the first place?"

Nice of the Pastor Driscoll to open up by blasting people who don't believe as he does.

  • I applaud your film and efforts. I do however have one suggestion. When you put up scripture, credits, etc., allow them to be on the screen a bit longer. They seem a little quick. God bless!

  • I look forward to seeing this!

  • WHEN WILL THIS BE RELEASED????

  • Wow this looks fascinating!! Thanks for taking the time fo make this documentary! I would LOVE to watch it. It breaks my heart though! I pray that God brings truth to the LDS community!

  • I'm looking forward too this video. I like how you did a lot of street interviews with real Mormons. It's important those who were never Mormon see and hear the mouths of Mormons what they really believe, instead of some just saying what Mormons believe. This way Mormons really can't dismiss what's say, although I'm sure they'll try =). I'm a former Mormon as well, I think this is going to make a great witnessing tool.

  • I am so excited to see this! Having left the LDS church in May of 2006 and recently come to Christ in a very real way for the first time, I am very interested in this film! I am very much looking forward to seeing this!!!

  • Can't wait.

  • Go to my videos to see what these people REALLY say about Mormons and to see the documented deception used by these so called "Pastors"

  • @BornAgainstMormons hahaha. Funny guy. You always have the best jokes.

  • This looks like it will be really good!

It also looks like it's been done the way it should be done... The Truth in Love!

  • Excellent! Looking forward to seeing the whole thing.

  • I really want to see this and take some friends with me. Perhaps they can learn and become just a bit closer to making an eternal decision.

  • AWESOME

  • Glory Hallelujah!!!!!! Praise the Lord!! TY Jesus!!

  • Hey - BEggerton - Add me as a friend - so I can send you a message.

    Great work!

    God bless

  • This is fantastic!

  • Fantastic! My husband is currently struggling with leaving the Mormon church. He is originally from Utah and we currently live in NC. His entire family is strong into the LDS faith and I am so excited to see new resources coming out every day to help reach out to those groups of people. I wish there was an outreach here in Raleigh, Nc to connect with our Mormon population! I await this documentary!

  • I can not wait to see this!....... Open your bibles Mormons and read!

  • Amen! I look forward to this video coming out....

  • very well put together my friend. your points are well stated
