People kept complaining that he was too dry, gave too many facts and kept talking about his plans too extensively and did not work on inspiring the crowd like he did in his famous 2004 convention speech.

So right now he's doing crowd pleasing in speeches and leaving the dry, long-winded info on his site and in his plans.
