The only suggestion I have, is to make a video about your animal and on top of that also talk about how much work goes into care for it. Often times people don't understand that a lot of work goes into these animals.

In fact the first rule on our website says "If you are looking for a lizard you can have sit on your shoulder for hours or to play with, a chameleon may not be the right pet for you. Chameleons as a rule, DO NOT like to be handled. They are considered 'ornamental' lizards more for watching than handling. Chameleons are easily stressed and not a pet that needs to be 'played' with".

@figg2112 We handle our chameleon infrequently .. only to move them to one cage to another or to move them outside. I interact with them by hand feeding which dose not require me to handle them. Some chams like this one will tolerate being handled and others will not. even tho this one seems ok with me holding him I would never walk around town with him on my shoulder
