  • The term "vegetable oil" is an industry term, not a botanical term. It only includes a few seed oils: cottonseed, sunflower, safflower, soy, corn, canola. The reason they're bad for us is the polyunsaturated fat, as explained here on drcate.com/salad-dressing-the-silent-killer/

  • But coconut oil and olive oil are vegetable oils, so do we need to distinguish between these traditional oils with a legacy of thousands of years of use in human diet and the modern oils produced in factories using mechanical, chemical and cooking processes?

  • First time I learned about you two..loved your video and will watch them all. I am going to order your books too. Great information but you two are a very attractive couple..kind of distracting!! : )

  • Great video guys. I am glad to see a doctor tell the truth about vegetable oils, especially canola oil, which has gotten an undeservingly stellar reputation as a "healthy oil." You have some pretty high profile doctors promote canola oil, like Dr. Oz, and it is so sad because I have seen the chemical and mechanical process industries use to extract this oil, and it would disgust most people if they found out what that process entails.
