I just watched this on ABC2 Friday night. What an amazing film. Did not have a clue where it was going, it completely took me by surprise. Definitely a cult classic.

It was 1971! Long before MAD MAX and CROCODILE DUNDEE. Most people in the USA didn't know what "outback" meant.

Saw this film for the first time not long ago. Brilliant, and thank God it's been restored. But a nasty, difficult one to watch nonetheless.
