I just started watching Lost on Netflix for my first time.. Completed Season 1 in less than a week and I'm on S2:E1 and heard this song when they went down into the hatch... just HAD to find it. This show is so enticing!!! Best cliffhangers ever. I can't imagine watching it back in the day and waiting for the next episode or season. I'd die!

it was in the show because by the storyline, the music collection on the island wasn't updated for over 30 years. NOT because new generation can't think of anything original. there's enough good music today, some of it people will listen to in 30 years too. if you have a problem with today's music, it's your problem, not music's.
