You may say it's not the second year, however, the only things that came to Oklahoma City were staff (including players). The name, stats, etc stayed in Seattle.

Actually, OKC has a chance to be the next great small market.....remember Utah and San Antonio? Well, don't be surprised if OKC has that kind of success. When the team was being moved all of the fans of the former Sonics flooded different websites saying they would go to the Thunder vs Trailblazers game and do whatever they could to disrupt the game. The name has yet to be announced However, due to the terms of the settlement with Seattle, the name "Sonics" will be given to the owner of a new Seattle franchise, when and if one is awarded. Scuttlebutt says the name will be Oklahoma City Thunder... Which I like since I can not stand plural names.
