Did you know you can take the roof off the fixed head Herald I used to do it with mine its great fun if a tad unstable I wouldnt really recommend it cos you cannot open the doors otherwise it sags in the middle so you have to jump in without opening the doors. And I remember with my Herald I used to have to carry a large piece of wood cos the back plate that held the brake shoes on used to slide down the drive shaft and I used to smash it back in with my Piece of wood. aahh Those were the days.
I was particularly interested in seeing the 4-door saloon prototype and the 4-door Indian estate- but please note, that is NOT a Gazel! It is very much a Herald, was known as the Standard Herald Mark3.

Wonderful!!! Brings back memories... I was there in 1990, together with a friend, in his Herald, all the way from Belgium...
