@karlvinland It's funny because I year ago I truly meant that. Yet, now I completely agree with you. I'm actually going to buy a wii for skyward sword, kirby wii, mario kart wii, and many more. I found a wii being sold on amazing for like 80 bucks. It's such a steal and I found a lot of cool titles. At the time I wrote that comment all I knew of the wii was shovelware crap.

Obviously there are certain types of games that couldn't be done well with older technology like the Atari and NES, but for the most part graphics don't really matter. They give you something pretty to look at, but they don't really make a game fun.

Rent it. It's good! Don't listen to anyone who says it sucks because it doesn't. It's not great because the character cusomization is very lacking, and the prizes have pretty much zero interaction( besides the fact you can rotate the large and grand prizes), but it has a great variety of games and only a few are bad. The multiplayer is pretty good. Just don't pay more then 20 bucks for it if you're thinking of buying it!

I hear you, man. I like these kinds of games too(and this one is pretty good), but the Wii has to damn many of these and not enough hardcore games, and I'm a hardcore gamer. Why can't the wii get any of those hardcore games that only seem to come out for the PS3 and 360? I only have a Wii and I want to play a lot of those games too! Games like these can be fun, but they don't have any plot and not enough substance to please a hardcore gamer long term. We want epic adventure and action games!

this is definately a good game. however, in some games you may see the same type of hand motion as another. I suggest getting it when it goes down to 30$. It is also a definate game for the family, however, it is'nt the greatest game in the world. I suggest getting it if you enjoy playing short mini games and showing off you're skills at the games. 3.5/5 Still a great game though.

Nintendo didn't make Carnival Games. Global Star Software, a subsidiary of the Grand Theft Auto publisher made Carnival Games exclusively for the wii. Nintendo makes games like Super mario Galaxy, and SSBB.

i've played it. its not all that great. you'll play it once and maybe want to play only 1 or 2 of the games again. some of the games arent explained properly and you're left having to play it 2 or 3 times to understand what you're meant to be doing. the lack of mii usage lets it down as well. :(. its an okay game if you're with a bunch of friends who are just muckin around, but it doesnt go much further then that.
