@tinktwiceman Yes I did. It just levels out the MIDI input to 127 max always. You won't see anymore MPD videos because I bought a Maschine.

@JohnnieTech2 Oh okay sweet!! And how are you liking the maschine oppose to the Mpd? Just as a controller, not with the maschine software? I'm in the middle of buying a mpd or saving for a maschine. I'm coming from the mpc so things like 16 level velocity and full level are important, especially in logic. With the maschine(I know it has 16 levels with the software), can 16 levels be used when it's just being used as a controller for logic, exs? Well I just subscribed and really hope to see more

yo i have a question. i sample too and i have an axiom 25 with 8 pads. im able to chop everything up in the EXS24 sampler but i dont know how to assign my pads to play the samples. do u have any idea how? thanks.

There are actually a couple different ways. I used Propellerhead's Recycle. You can import the rex2 file directly into a blank EXS sampler. Are you using Logic 8 or 9??

beat come out really good!!! You Know how to put a gate on the samples so once you let go of the key it just stops, becuz i cant find how to do it on Exs? i no how to do it on ultra beat tho

When you have the exs sampler loaded up. Look at the bottom right of the window and you'll see a slider with R underneath it. There are actually two, I can't remember off the top of my head which one controls it. Just turn one all the way down and see if that works. It's called the release.

The chorus is chopped up from the sample as well. I just dialed down the release so it cut off sooner.

sounds good.. but too mutch swing its close to of beat for me . and you can not make sutch a cut from the verse to the chorus anyway sounds good

Too much swing on what?? Usually when you refer to swing it's the swing on the beat, like the drum pattern.  The drum pattern is really straight forward.
