I did like however Peter Parker and his Spiderman alterego battling the darkness within himself. The alien black symbiote fed off of the negative emotions of revenge, and hatred that was flowing inside of Peter Parker. His unwillingness to forgive Flint Marko overwhelmed Peter Parker making him Symbiote Spiderman.
