  • i dont see how changing my body alingment regarding the face of the club is going to fix my over the top swing. If i still come over the top doing this drill i get a relative straight shot, to the left of course. Am i missing something? Does this promote a mental thing? please explain.

  • @rpolancot by an over the top move is caused primarily by the shoulders opening up too quickly and the right shoulder working out and too high in the transition. Closing the shoulers and stance helps to delay the shoulders so you can work the club more down and out. It is not guaranteed as no drill is, it just helps you feel the club swing more inside out or along your feet line. It is one of the oldest drills in the book

  • Thanks for your quick reply. Would it be better to post any comments on Facebook?

  • That posture to turn a bit right if done properly should promote a draw. However, if the shoulders are squared too much, it can promote a pull hook. My take. Good vid.

  • @badabingg42 thats right.lts not full proof. YOu can still come over it if the shoulders spin too soon. thanks for checking out my vid
