Wrong. While I'm sure the two of them hooking up was all Bulma's idea + Vegeta's lapse in judgment, he obviously grows to love her after the Cell saga. He tells Trunks to take care of her when he decides to sacrifice himself to Buu, it's the first thing out of his mouth. Being overly affectionate isn't his way (just like so many guys) but that doesn't mean he doesn't love her.
