Nice to see somones coming over to the light side. Couple of points if I may, Cod4 is still the most played Call of Duty game on PC seconded by CoD2. There's probably a reason for that being that PC games have been at it generally longer than the console bretherin and came from CS:S Quake UT ect. Generally they prefer more bare bone game without all the killstreak fluff in the way of actually playing the game. Look up promod for CoD4
@Gilanguar Secondly the skillcap is generally alot higher, this is due to the way mice work, with a mouse you can snap to a target as fast as your hand can move opposed to the speed the controller scrolls using the thumbstick. Also generally it seems PC gaming is approached with a more competitive viewpoint, the fact you're not slouched in a sofa may be something to do with this.
@Gilanguar Finally check out console commands, for CoD4 my 2 year old rig holds a solid 250 fps. Setting your rate/snaps/fov/decals ect all can help your gameplay be as tight a possible. Black Op's and MW:2 are console games most people will agree with me so they don't let you put in most of these commands.
Bad team mates? PC has all the same bad players. Just so happens you are the bad player on PC so you don't concentrate on the other players lacking skill.
i like the pc version much better as i have both xbox and PC version and youre right in how the names and lag is muuuchhhhhh better and i think it is much more enjoyable on pc.
paul on PC theres still tons of knife runners, spawn campers, tubers, laggers and other cheap tactics being used. Must say that I still think its more fun than on console^^ - I dont think I could ever use joysticks or the arrows things on console, it would just feel so unnatural.

@Pyropuncher yeh theres an in game recorder, for some reason while you play its a wee bit slower than ususal, but if you see my video's the video is perfect :O
They aren't "dedicated" servers. Dedicated servers are for PC gaming and allow users to change settings. These are what was used for games like Counter Strike. They would just big large servers owned by the gaming company that host the games instead of it being p2p. The problem with them is that if they aren't maintained for large amounts of traffic they can be 100x worse than using p2p... hence all the BF2 problems.

I play a High end PC and Console and in my experience, PC wins hands down, 50% because of the community and 50% because everything about the games are better, Better Graphics, No fucking aim assist for call of duty, better overall connection and more variety in games. Modding support for most games these days too, more realistic shooters available, Exclusive Games that console can't run.. the list goes on and on..
yea the kd thing will never happen because you can play in parties on cod so not every group of randoms will be close to the party they are playing against plus that would make it to where good players get even shittier teammates all the time like it isnt bad enough already
The players are PC are garbage just like the players on console. I've played the last 4 CODs on XBOX, PS3, and PC and there are tons of crap players and a few good ones on all of them.
It only takes about 4 hours to really be 100% used to mouse and keyboard. I also recommend mapping crouch to one of the side buttons on the mouse, helps a lot.
Overall, I like playing on PS3 the most, even though I don't like Black Ops on any platform.

Pyro you may know me as the one who raged about the giveaway, ill tell u smth. There are a lot of cases where i do prefer Matchmaking over dedicated servers. Ive been playing on Pc for 4 Years. The only reason is. You dont have every gamemode available it depends on the server. On Cod4 u cant find good Dom servers in europe. Partysystem will be fucked, cause its not that easy to handle. Not every server is full. Alot of them are empty, the only advantage is the ping
@DHproductions2 Ping is how many miliseconds it takes for you to send packets and how long it is taking for them to return. 150+ is considered a high ping.

I'm from NW England and have a K/D of 2.6ish on Black Ops PC. I play with a clan (occasionally) and several random internet friends (usually). PC is definitely the best fps control system without a doubt. I've played on 360 (mw2) and absolutely hated it but perhaps that was mostly the game. It's a real shame Blops doesn't run as well as it might on PC.

Hi Paul, I'm this "HardCore PC gamer", and my opinion on black ops is very much mixed. I enjoy playing public and destroying "console noobs" like you with my 4+ kd, but black ops is really ment to be played in competitive level. My team is ranked in top 5 Europe and facing really good teams and winning them makes this game really fun to play, not the public. Very nice video btw :)

TBH, I have always preferred computer over console. However, my computer is old enough now that I cannot play these newer games. This saddens me and I have gotten so used to console again idt I could go back to PC. I am curious though, for MW2 they took out dedicated servers for PC...did they bring it back for black ops? One thing i found is that when i played black ops on pc for a few months is that as i got better on it, i got worse on console and now i am a 1.4 kd player down from 2

@kingeric1978 Hmm.. I don't know. How about the owner of the game i.e Activision who's made record money of the game and could easily cough up the money required? This is such a retarded argument, I really don't get peoples reasoning. Black Ops is a record breaking game sales-wise, mw2 is a record-breaking game sales-wise, aswell as both WaW and mw1 was. Why on earth wouldn't the devoloper (correction, the publisher) afford to pay for dedicated servers on console?

I'm from NW England and have a K/D of 2.6ish on Black Ops PC. I play with a clan (occasionally) and several random internet friends (usually). PC is definitely the best fps control system without a doubt. I've played on 360 (mw2) and absolutely hated it but perhaps that was mostly the game. It's a real shame Blops doesn't run as well as it might on PC.

i would like to see you doing high quality web chat with your friends while doing other stuff and gaming at the same time on a console.
people saying colsole is cheaper, it isnt, everybody already has a computer, you dont need to buy a new one (unless it is n00b) all you need is the game.

dedicated servers also allow bad perks and unbalanced stuff to be banned. this solves a lot of problems

Hi Paul, I'm this "HardCore PC gamer", and my opinion on black ops is very much mixed. I enjoy playing public and destroying "console noobs" like you with my 4+ kd, but black ops is really ment to be played in competitive level. My team is ranked in top 5 Europe and facing really good teams and winning them makes this game really fun to play, not the public. Very nice video btw :)

i dont play on pc. Are you worried about losing some of your fan base when you start posting pc gameplay? I watch for xbox footage only. I just know you recently have been concerned about how many views and likes your vids get and by putting out what people ask for is how your going to get those.

TBH, I have always preferred computer over console. However, my computer is old enough now that I cannot play these newer games. This saddens me and I have gotten so used to console again idt I could go back to PC. I am curious though, for MW2 they took out dedicated servers for PC...did they bring it back for black ops? Honestly asking, I have not looked into it. =D

I like console cause I can play with my friends. And when I'm feeling lazy with my aim, console is better (aim assist obviously)
However, COD sucks on both PC and console. Absolute piece of sh**. I've been playing TF2 and that game is SOOOOO much fun. It has:
-Balance
-You can go outside without insta one shot assualt rifle
-Balance
-Team based
-Did I mention.........BALANCED!
PC shooters like CS and TF2 with mods>a million aim assist reskins of the same game.

One thing i found is that when i played black ops on pc for a few months is that as i got better on it, i got worse on console and now i am a 1.4 kd player down from 2

Like I say on alot of vids that have a question like the title, you can't have matchmaking and dedserv's at the same time, and more people want matchmaking, majority ruined the consoles.
