i read on the Sims 3 Wiki thats on there website i believe, is that yes you have to be hero but you have to unlock the Free Will mode they have this is what it said " The storyline of the game is to build a successful kingdom, by fulfilling the player's "Kingdom Ambition," which the player chooses at the start of the game. Once an ambition has been completed, the play will unlock new ambitions for future playthroughs as well as unlocking freeplay for that specific kingdom."

@anuragshukladcool Pretty much the same as the original games - although, instead of 'asking out' who you intend to marry, you get 'permission to court', which is basically the same thing. After a while of raising the relationship status of the future married couple, it gives you an option to ask to marry them.

It makes sense in context, that there are no "toddlers" or "teenagers" in regards to age. In medival times, those who we would consider barely teenagers were adults in their eyes. Children were children to them, up until they reached the age of adulthood. It might not be going for historical accuracy, but this is one of the few aspects that actually is.
