@TheKensrae : What's wrong with lipsynching? I regard it as another form of performance art similar to miming and stage acting. Some variety shows, which have no housebands and have limited timeslots, have to resort to having guest bands mime to their recorded songs. Music should not be live all the time. Sometimes, it's a combination of the audio and the aesthetic visual aspect of the performers. Nothing different from a music video, in which characters act to the songs.
By the way, that insight is from me--aLfie--vocalist of the band--the one holding the orange plastic toy guitar. That's the very reason I always used a toy guitar--to emphasize that we were just miming and having fun. If one wants a live performance, then one might as well go out and attend concerts.
