Our services are very structured & follow the Bible very closely, vs. by vs. Even the hymns reflect the scripture of the day & the theme of the sermon as well. It all ties together & it all reflects exactly what Jesus & the Bible teach us. Our church totally avoids politics. Wash.) by Ellis-great book & a great, great man. I believe you would be pleasantly surprised to learn that our Founding Fathers felt very bad & guilty about slavery & that they wanted to end it long before they did, mostly b/c they were afraid the South would succeed form the Union-which they later did!

This church claims that we live in a racist nation. Let's put that theory to work.
This pastor is legally allowed to publicly say whatever hateful, prejudiced, condemning thing he wants to about the white population, because he is African-American. Add to that the fact this behavior is applauded.
Turn that around and have a white man saying the same things about blacks, and he is labeled a racist and chastised from all sides for having such a standpoint.

Another ABC commentator got into trouble for misrepresenting Fred Price in this same manner. They should focus on the accuracy of fact and not misinterpretation of sermons preached by African-American ministers. The probability of misinterpretation across culture is still too great for Caucasians who do not socialize regularly with African-Americans from lower economical statuses.

The commentator for this ABC report misrepresented Jeremiah Wright. Pastor Wright was quoting Ambassador Peck on Fox news when he said the US brought on the attacks. The commentator said that they were Pastor Wright's words, but they weren't.
