It is a transitional cell tumor. The epithelial cells are consist nests of cells resembling transitional epithelium of the urinary bladder. The nuclei are round or oval and have small nucleoli and a characteristic feature of the Brenner tumour is a longitudinal nuclear groove, called " coffee bean"
no it can be both called a germ cell and a surface as it can arise from urogenital epithelium trapped in the germinal ridge during embryogenesis.. am i right???????
