  • Honky Tonk I heard on a home made audio cassette somebody made at a SoCal county fair and I was pleasantly surprised. This is a really fine version, thanks!

  • @909chuck Happy to share :)

  • Had a great voice... multi talented man ... gave up to soon.

  • @onstageagain he didn't give it up he died in a plane accident

  • @rocknrolldude1989 I was not speaking of his second try. Rick was on a come back so to speak. He was at the top of his game yrs earlier, I was to understand he didn't really like singing and the attention. The plane he died in was Jerry Lee Lewis old plane. Garden Party was a song he wrote, The song was based on his experience at Madison Square Garden. it was totally autobiographical. His voice got better as he aged. What a beautiful man.

  • Don't know that one. But check out "Life" 1971 single version.

  • love his voice .... he wrote beautiful songs (easy to be free is one of my favorites).....and was sooooo veeeerryyyy sexy......pretty sure I couldn't watch him do this bit (merry christmas baby/honky tonk woman) live.....i would have surely over-heated...he was an irresistable combination of talent looks and charm!!!

  • I have seen him do this bit live. Lots of fun to see!

  • Love watchin him move when he plays the piano...Never get tired of his version of the song....
