The technology is out there to create simple augmented reality. However, with a few minor flaws in this video, computer animation plays a big role.

I am extremely impressed by the execution of the card trick in this video. The way our technology progresses is in two ways; 1, we stumble upon it by accident. And 2, we create an imagination per say of an idea and do everything in our power to create it. Seeing this, certain people have set a goal to create the possible augmented reality possibl

That was an amazing blend of magic and technology! I suppose a deck of cards is perfect for augmented reality--52 (or 54, if you count the jokers) unique symbols that are easily recognizable and have nice contrast with the white backgrounds.
