  • why is that so close to the school?

  • i live behind oakhills and i can only see the foot ball lights from my house and i can still hear it this well

  • @babyrikki1111111 You know alex sheidt?

  • Hey Jae, believe it or not, this one is actually set on terminal 5 for the chopper. This sounds exactly like the one I recorded a few months back, only this one rotates at 8RPM. Very nicely done, wish I could get to hear the one near me do attack, sounds extraordinarily creepy!

  • unfortuneately we dont have any control of it but you should hear it in the school, the classrooms vibrate

  • Jesus, that things either got too much voltage, or is hopped up on mountain dew!

  • @lilblueguy LOL nope! Its set on either chopper level 7 which is why its high pitched and also set on 8RPM. 8RPM is the fastest rotational speed you can set it on, or as far down as 2RPM, the slowest :)

  • @BellyJae According to the siren survey thing Clayton gave us a couple years ago, this thing is running on 3-phase power at 480 volts, so that would explain the weird tone and fast rotation.

  • @lilblueguy LOL I Agree

  • You know, I took a listen to my video along with yours at the same time like you commented on my video earlier, and they both sound as if they're on chopper level 7. Unless my hearing's a bit off, that's what I'm guessing.

  • Do the people in the school have control to the Tornado Siren or just the EMA?

  • @whelenvortexr4 Oak Hills does not have control over the siren. Only the Hamilton County EMA does. Years ago it was controlled by the Cincinnati Police Communications Center.

  • @akmarch ok i thought there was a panel posted in the school so they can activate it since its on top of a school building

  • I am looking forward to one day seeing your video on Carew Tower! I hope it will be even more interesting than your other videos taken Down Town. Good luck with that!

  • Well excuse me for having a sense of humour.

  • No No dont take it the wrong way....I was kinda stating a humorus truth myself you know. Please dont take it offensive...I still love you man.

  • Eep!! i sowwy...

  • @BellyJae isent oakhills in virginia? haha buncha damn redneck fuckers

  • @gotthkid2 This is Oak Hills High School outside of Cincinnati Ohio.

  • @BellyJae ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • I do tend to call sirens girls myself. In my world, they do have vaginas. No peinses.

  • Awesome sounding 1000T! The rotator is set VERY fast.

  • Great sounding Thunderbolt 1000T. That sure is high-pitched.

  • Wow nice video Jae. It's set much higher than I expected it to be.

  • Nice video Jae, love the sound of that TBolt. 5 stars for you.

  • Very nice sounding 1000T Jae!

  • Sounds like the ear-piercing torture machine 1000T we have up here at Purdue!

  • Yay! Another 8 RPM Thunderbolt in Hamilton County! I wonder if the Diamond Oaks Thunderbolt was set at 8 RPM when it used to be there. Sadly, it's been replaced with a T-128. We know White Oak 1000T is 8 RPM. I would feel that people would think I'm suspicious if I pointed my camera at a school's siren during a school day. BTW, great video!

  • An older woman did come up to me and asked if I was ok, lol. She said she has lived here for 40 yrs and if I was lost she could help me. I told her I was taping the siren and she was shocked because she didn't know it sat on top of the school. She smiled and continued on her walk. She was about 20 up the street from me when it went off and she about jumped out of her skin lol!!!

  • LOL!!!!

  • Great video. I like these higher pitched 1000Ts.

  • That sounds more like chopper level 7 to me. Great vid!
