Actually since Cave Story 3D is being developed for the 3DS, and the likelihood of Cave Story being ported for Nintendo will likely earn a spot in Super Smash Bros, since if you think about it, Quote as cameo characters can work similarly to Mr. Game & Watch as 2D sprites, but his attacks would need to be balanced out since all characters mainly use a melee attack.

Normal Attacks = Sword

As for smash attacks he can swap weapons based on button combinations.

After playing through the game and beating the TRUE final boss, I became obsessed with it and Searched Polar star. I then came across the star, which gave me the name polaris. Later, when playing Earthbound the name Pole Star came up and it gave me the Idea for a book called Polaris :)

@PolarisSeal If you count in that reference with the one for "you know who" then it's a pretty safe bet to say that Pixel played Earthbound before making this game.

the only problem i have with polar star overdrive and never die is they feel a little inconsistent. never die kinda feels like 4-5 different songs (or at least different versions of a song), all of them good, but not fitting together great. polar star starts out brilliant, almost sounds like a daisuke ishiwatari track, but then loses a lot of awesomeness when it goes into a generic techno synth sound for the melody. both of them rock absolute balls, though, and i'm still gonna keep listening.
