All of you people commenting about FM2 or GT5, you all don't know shit. Forza Motorsport 2 or Gran Turismo, or even better, GRiD (which is less realistic than GTA4) CANNOT BE COMPARED in any way, shape or form to real life tuning, modding, driving. Once you will get your first car (if you ever do, you will completely agree with me). And that comment about Gt5 being used by drivers before they race.. i got a response to that.

To be fair your comments are a little arrogant. I'm a 28 year old guy with 10 years driving experience including advanced road driving and performance modification experience. I can tell you that I enjoy Forza 2, and with all driver aids swithced off you really do get a good idea of the real thing in many of the fundamental basics of car control.

I'm not saying it is anywhere near the same as it isn't, but it does have some very good things to learn if you're too youg for the real thing.

Also, these games can very useful for learning track lay out such as Laguna Seca and more importantly, Nurburgring. It is actually encouraged to play these games for a basic understanding of the turns and layout of the track.

Real drivers do use games before they race.... Not all obviously but it's known to happen. they do it to help prepare themselves psychologically and to learn the track layout. Obviously they don't swear by it but it helps give them an idea for when they start practicing. Drivers often walk around the track and drive round in a slow car to help envision the lap......

I'm Terrible at this game, but yet I was in 1st place before the end of the first lap. The tires were stock and with tire degredation the tires are going to make noise when you turn at such a high rate of speed.

You should turn your line to full, it will help. Also who ever said to just stomp on the brake, make sure you only do that if you have ABS ON, otherwise your brakes will lock up and that makes you stopping distance a lot further.

I know i sound really sad here, but, on The Mugello Circuits, in the two complexes after the first corner, try and go on the outside of the driver in front, that way you can take a bit more speed into the corner and you are automatically lined up on the inside line for the the next corner!!! Just a tip try it!! Also, don't keep stabbing at the brakes as you brake brake later and just floor the brakes and you should get a nicer entry into the corner and this will get heat into your brakes quicker

Blu-rays just for space, and the actual graphics come from graphics memory dumbass. And the PS3 and Xbox 360s graphics cards are pretty much the same and they also have the same exact graphics memory (512mb of RAM).

you realize that the extra space in MGS4 was used for extended cutscenes right? the game wasnt even that long! 16 hours tops to finish story. Halo 3 ( a DVD9 game!) took 14 hours to beat, and it had more mutliplayer content. are your gonna shit yourself over 2 extra hours of story and a shitty multiplayer game? actually DVD is very capable of hitting high resolution textures. All bluray is good for is extra storage. Better learn your technology before talking about it.
