were in the uk is bush craft legal as im sure i cant just walk down to the woods pitch a ten or tarp light a fire and camp what r the ;aws on this let me know please im loving ur vids but cant put them into practice
Can anyone out there let me know what the point is of spending possibly hundreds of pounds to bush craft and survival schools when there is nowhere available in the U.K (that Im aware of anyway!) Where one can practise what skills they have learned in particular foraging for food, cooking small mammals, Wood pigeon etcetera ?
I'm not sure why you received bad marks for this comment. Your question is valid in my opinion. I live in Texas, and I love wilderness survival skills and primitive techniques...but finding places where you can legally practice these skills are difficult to find unless you own the land.
Fantastic stuff....but the fact that this is on you tube, means that we've got things COMPLETELY WRONG!!!!! To get this far into the technological era, then post this....SHAME on all of us!!!! We've overbred for at least a generation....and now we have to reap the Whirlwind....
There are plenty of Americans/Canadians doing it from angles other than survival, look up site like Paleoplanet, Primitive Archer, and Bill's Bushcraft, for example, they have a lot to offer and learn from. Enjoy your bushcraft Chris.
There are loads events like this in the US, usually lasting longer and offer much more, bushcraft is quite new in the UK but in the US it never died out
Ha Ha Ha I'm in this video doing the survival relay with "footsteps of discovery" this is by far worth the money its excelent! "Dryad bushcraft" are excelent and "Woodland survival crafts"!
Undercurrentspaulo would you mind telling me the name of the song at the start of this video if you know it?
Love your videos, really would like to try it myself. The intro song is Now stuck in my head.

I thought Grohmann (DH Russell) was famous in your neck of the woods for good knives.
Hope you find a good source for the things you need
