  • What part of Texas you from I'm from victoria

  • I just ported one of these for a customer of mine. You really want to lower the intake port by 2mm and raise the cylinder up by 2mm by using a thick HD gasket. The reason is that the cylinder sits too low.

  • @TheNoisePolluter

And this changes what how? The closer the piston is to the chamber the better. squish ftw.

  • also, you can mark 1/8 to 1/4 inch on the piston intake skirt and cut it out, what that does is opens the intake sooner and thus increasing the volume of air/fuel into the chamber, that with your port work should make more power and put a bigger grin on your face! try it out!

  • @gurusurfers

    No, lol.

  • @briggsandclones tell you what, ill do it on my bike stock then with the piston mod and post dyno results

  • @gurusurfers

Go right on ahead. It'll make more power up top, given right tuning. However, your theory is wrong.

  • @briggsandclones ok, go on pocketbikeplanet ant talk to CAM2....

  • @gurusurfers

    LOL pbp.

  • @briggsandclones dude, clearly you dont know what your doing, ill admit, i dont know what im doing, im not trying to knock on your porting, but you gotta realize that opening uup the intake sooner will suck in more air, im a water cooled guy, but i do have a x7(same motor) and on mine i have done a head chop to a 2 piece head. and did the piston notch and it hauls.

  • Lists to go fast tip speed -mod air box -pipe tab restricker widen - e/3 sparkplug (.10 thread size) i belive -porting lol -carb tuning is a yes every day is different humidity - 35.1gas ratio i like if ur racing cools it down abit - Proper air pressure- chain oil not grease not to tight or it will slow u down- breaks mounts ajusted lift tire rotate with hand and turn the aluminum screw so the tire moves freely

  • Stoned and trying to find ways to make these faster mod the airbox like i did and u dont need a to buy a air filter and a vstack online take half the box off widen the intake holes then take the brass pice off and drill holes in it but dont touch the mount treads or pre holes

  • Also can u make a video on the results to show these guyz some power lol

  • Ive done it to both my bikes cateye and a x2 stealth look and these engines are reliable as fuck even with bigger ports just dont redline it to crazy and then i got a stock one last wreekand laughed at the little power it has just relize u need that extra oil a light smoke is orgazmic

  • about 1.5mm sealing from transfer to intake should be left :)

  • @136malossi

    Nah, 1mm ;)

  • Well it works 2 good and i feel the torque in it now and more revs yey best mod ever

  • I did it thank u will put it together after cleaning and new gaskets and i did my aluminum intake had to trim side flaps to fit it post ya with resaults i didnt no u can widen them so crazy

  • Nice work. I need to do this to my honda 300ex ATV engine.

  • i saw me pipe on the table :) (doug)

  • @H3Ad5hOt22

AHHHH I forgot to make a video when I had that on my old GSRS... I did wheelies when I hit the powerband on that 29cc motor LOL, offa power! :3

  • i know basic porting like widening etc but not upper and lower because i dont want to change the timing or anything what so ever, too risky also wouldn't widening too much make the rings ketch into the ports?

  • @30GB

Correct, but it's all in teh port shape and chamfering/chamfer angle to shove the ring back in. Certain port types will catch rings (or even the piston skirt).

  • Wow your a smart person!

  • @walkingfreak

I completely skipped the actual physics and any "real" techniques lol.
