As an American I find it impossible to believe Jiang Qing was responsible for the cultural revolution. It is more precisely a case of the old men of the ccp looking to blame someone in order to take the pressure off of themselves. Sadly, China always has trouble being honest about it's history and so ends up reliving the same errors.
