  • Anyone know how to download mp3?

  • @dianelys no u don't need internet it all depends on your plan

  • is this a good buy?

  • whoever dislikedthis is stupid. just dont know what to do with themselves

  • @4CrystalSTAR I'm pretty sure that at least some of the "dislike" votes are done accidentally, by people clicking unintentionally on the wrong thing. That's what I tell myself, anyway.

  • 2:49 they try to hide their face

  • I got my mytouch Q for christmas && i Lovee it. ( :

  • adding to other comment*****

My touch Q Or mytouch 4g slide

Also good for reading text too!**

  • I'm getting a new phone soon (in 3 months) I was wondering should I guess this one or the my touch 4g slide and it's mostly JUST FOR GOOD QUALITY CAMERA! So i was wondering which one is good sound and video quality?

  • Do they both have 2 have inernet to get it like I have the 2 year contract but i dont want inernet on my mine so do u have 2 have inernet with it?

  • @dianelys567 Yes. These are both smartphones, and smartphones require data plans. No way to avoid that, unless you pay the full (quite high) price for the phone.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • can i get this phone with the contract i have right now or do i need a new contract with the phone.

  • @TheBestWhiteKid You can always pay full price and get this (or any other) phone without a contract. If you want the low price (often free), then you need to be eligible. That means it either has to be a new 2-year contract, or a renewal of your existing contract once it has reached 2 years. If you're not sure, give Wirefly a call at 866-852-3216 to discuss.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly kk thanks you helped a lot!

  • i have a question well 2 my first one is how much does the mytouch by lg cost with a contract.Second question can i cancel my contract for a new contract with the mytouch lg. and will i have to pay money to cancel my contract?

  • @TheBestWhiteKid For costs, it's always best to check the price on Wirefly (dod) come. Prices change all the time, so any price I list here will probably be wrong in a couple of weeks.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • They dont hav a cool box anymore! :(

  • i got the mytouch q fo christmas :D

  • Very nice! Just upgraded! :)

  • iPhone all da way!

  • is the mytouvhq cool cause my mom bought it for me for christmas

  • Double your pleasure, double your fun, with double mint gum

  • I love these phones, who cares if it's basic, Simple is better in my opinion.

  • okay thank you though :)

  • yes but i mean like the touch keyboard and lots more (browser, android market, phone lock etc.) i just want to look at all of it before i get it

  • @glittergraphics247 I have just two videos on these phones: This double unboxing and the review of the (keyboard-less) myTouch by LG. I'm afraid that's all I will have.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • omg i want this phone can you show more videos for this? i want to know about the falt my touch one not the slide please :D

  • @glittergraphics247 I did a review of the myTouch by LG (without the keyboard), so that should be what you want to see.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly When did these two phones come out?

  • @MysteryCat1234 At the beginning of November 2011.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @Xinebever The myTouch Q sold in the US is locked to T-Mobile. If you plan to take it to other countries, you should speak to T-Mobile about getting it to work in those countries. If live in a country other than the US an intend to keep the phone permanently there, then you will need to unlock the phone. Google "unlock the mytouch q" and see what comes up.

    Bob at Wireflyu

  • "POCKAGE" @3:11 lmaoo

  • Is the screen resistand? By that I mean, can you use your nails with it?

  • @zaxgamez The screens on these two phones are capacitive, not resistive. Virtually all cell phones sold today have capacitive displays.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly Well, not most of them. Like Verizon, they got tons of Resistive cell phones. Same with Strait Talk.

  • @zaxgamez Okay, virtually all smartphones sold today have capacitive screens. I have never seen an Android or Windows phone that had a resistive screen, but some might have two years ago.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly Okay? Hammy! :P

  • The my touch only has 3 hardware buttons ?? ICS coming soon possibly??

  • @dylanfer6 Three buttons is typical for myTouch phones.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly well is it planeed for ICS in the future?? please reply

  • @dylanfer6 At the moment, there are no plans to update these two phones with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). However, that's up to LG and T-Mobile, and all I know about it is what I read in the blogs.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly Thanks Bob , your awesome keep doing what you do mate!

  • Why is it not HTC ? -_-

  • @WhenKidsF*ckUp You'll have to ask HTC , LG and T-Mobile about that.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • It would be cooler if you just said i amp battery

  • @4everTransformerable Battery capacity is measured in Amps x hours, so you get things like 1,500 milliamp-hours. Strange sounding, I know.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly when is the review coming up...?of the mytouch

  • @latios1500 I have a review of the myTouch rendering and it will be uploaded later today.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • Wait wait wait wait is this bib covacks?

  • @McdevittBell Who is "bib covacks"?

    Bob at Wirefly

  • does it have LED notification?

  • @888laky i have been wondering the same thing.

  • @ItsGiselleBabyy Unfortunately, the myTouch and myTouchQ do not have notification LEDs. I tested that yesterday with the myTouch (without a keyboard).

    Bob at Wirefly

  • Would you recommend the mytouch (no Q) for a starter smartphone? and how many stars (out of 5) would you give it?

  • @SierraGolfTango737 Yes, I think the myTouch is a very good starter smartphone. Among phones that I think of as "starter" Android phones, the myTouch is one of the best: 4.5 out of 5 stars. In the overall Android phone universe, the myTouch rates 3.5 out of 5 stars.

In its favor, the myTouch is small, light, inexpensive and has a nice display with smooth response. It could use more storage. More power would be a bonus.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @SierraGolfTango737 it sucks- i got one

  • I just bought this phone yesterday I asked for the slim one but the guy gave me the one with the keyboard ohh well its still a great phone can't wait for the review:D

  • @nathanieldgkallday i can give you a review now

  • so why did they make an iPhone 4 look like for this mytouch? :|

  • so whitch phone do u recommend better the mytouch q or mytouch?

  • juss got this phone yesterday i love it!!!!! BETTER THAN A BLACKBERRY

  • @lilericgotchu24 any android powered phone is better than a blackberry XD minus the g1.

  • Those screens are not the same and they are not LCDs, the mytouch q has a TFT screen while the regular mytouch has an AMOLED screen.

  • Your voice reminds me of Adam West...

I am not yet sure as to whether that's a good thing or not.

    :) Let's hope it's a good thing!

  • Does it HAVE to have internet ? Or can it run with just Wi-fi? If so, do you know of any smart phones that can run on just Wi-fi?

  • @Himynameisricardo These phones can run on just WiFi. However, no one will sell them to you at a low price without an Internet data plan. Virtually all smartphones can run only on WiFi, although many do not permit WiFi calling. However, you won't be able to buy a new smartphone at a low price without a data plan. All smartphones from Wirefly require a data plan, unless you pay the full (replacement) cost.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • I have a question. Would you recommend i get the my touch 3g slide? or the mytouch q? the Q is 30 bucks more and i dont know which one to get. Help?

  • @SourLikeWorms I don't want to spend your money for you, but I strongly recommend the myTouch 4G Slide over either the 3G and the Q. If you can't afford it, then the Q is your next best choice, as it is considerably more modern than the myTouch 3G Slide. All are within $50 of each other on Wirefly.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • this mytouch samsung exibit 2 4g or bb curve 9360 ?

  • Can u put a text signature on it?

  • @SonnySparkz I don't know if the myTouch supports text signatures. Any idea where I would find that feature?

    Bob at Wirefly

  • These are so small! I can't go back to a small phone after the first mytouch monstrosity-- I mean --phone.

  • Whoops, excuse my last comment. Didn't reach that part in the video yet!

  • Does the myTouch (one w/o physical keyboard) have a front-facing camera?

  • Wow this is what tmobile offer to customer so that they won't jump to iPhone 4s, cheap cheap cheap.......

  • Hey dudes I got the mytouch 4g the q and 4g slide 4g is awsome comes with 8gb sd card

  • When are you going to review the phones?

  • @JohnGunz85 I have some other things that must be done first, but perhaps next week.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @JohnGunz85 I'll be reviewing the MyTouch Q, HTC Amaze 4G, and T-Mobile Galaxy S II. Check out my channel next week.

  • IMPORTANT *rips off* hahah not that i would do it lol just thought it was funny

  • LG SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you!

  • hello bob, so if i upgrade to one of these phone and i didnt have a data plan to begin with. Can i get a "pay per mb usage" kind of thing? i read something about this on the wirefire policy, but idk.. im just making sure :]

  • @MrTastea123 If you outright buy the phone, you don't need to get a contract and you have lots of flexibility. You will need a data plan, but you can get one with a low data cap (or possibly "pay-as-you-go"). If you buy the phone at the subsidized (low) price, you will have to choose one of the data plans shown on Wirefly or at a T-Mobile store.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • does the Q have a front facing camera

  • @juicylovex3ily No, the myTouch Q does not have a front-facing camera.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • Really bad move to go with LG. Quality it horrible

  • @TVFameFuture Congratulations!

    Bob at Wirefly

  • when did the mytouch come out, i'm talking about the one without the keyboard

  • @OfficialRasTV Both phones launch on Nov. 9, so technically neither has come out yet.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • I tested the Q out in the store, really good phone and great keyboard, in my opinion of course.

  • I know you said that you would not review the myTouch Q, but could you do a twin review type deal like you did with the unboxings?

  • @JC11711 That's an interesting idea and I may use a little bit of that when I review the myTouch by LG later this week.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly How is the keyboard on the mytouch Q?

  • Which phone would you recomend? I'd rather have a front side camera, so would the myTouch be the smarter choice of the two?

  • @humansRule987 I prefer the myTouch (no keyboard) for its small size and nice display. That's just my preference, however... I recognize that others may prefer a physical keyboard. If you read below, this quesion has come up before.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • I'm might want to get mytouch Q or something ekes for my birth day

  • mytouch q = mytouch 3g slide

    mytouch (reg) - mytouch 4g.

i dont see anything new?? except that these phones are by LG.

  • when can you sell these phones on your website?

  • Thanks for the excellent unboxing review Bob. I'm a tmobile customer and it's been difficult finding any other hands on reviews of these phones. The fantastic specs which are a vast improvement over the previous incarnation of the mytouch phones and plus the lower price add up to a pretty good value.

I was wondering how the resolution compares with a Samsung Exhibit which I'm also interested in. Samsungs' are known for their crisp and sharp resolution.

  • i really love the mytouch.

  • How's the on screen keyboard, because some are hard to text fast with, like you press a letter then the one next to it presses, so is the on screen keyboard good for texting fast. and miss spelling words. ?? Please Respond.

  • What T-Mobile phone would you say is the best for playing games on. That's obviously not all I want a phone for, but I'm just curious to know which is a very good phone for gaming.

  • @JohnGunz85 Probably the Samsung Galaxy S II. That display is excellent for games, and it's a fast phone.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • which one do you prefer because i personally like the keyboard on the q, but the normal one has a front facing camera; but i also seen that the q has very little battery life compared to the normal one.

  • @213CRT For me personally, I prefer a phone without a keyboard. They are lighter and smaller, and in this case the myTouch has a larger/nicer display. That does it for me, if everything else is equal. But everyone is different and the great thing about Android is that it gives you choices.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • ur dumb and i hate u stoopid old man

  • @drethedude1 Yeah... it's always the dumb and stupid ones who spell properly and act politely.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • Why would they not include a flash for both cameras! on the Q but not on the other ??= FAIL. & Lg is already known for having bad cameras. Doesn't look to good..

  • Man on con for me is that there is extra space below the screen for the mytouch which could have been used for a larger screen

  • hey bob ive been hearing that the previous my touch is better than these two that will be coming out soon, and wanted to know if you can explain to me how? and also what phone would you prefer, the new my touch or samsung exhibit 2 nothing to do with price but quality. Thanks

  • @213CRT I like the look and feel of the new myTouch (without keyboard), and the display is very pretty. The myTouch Q looks ordinary, nothing special. The earlier HTC myTouch 4G Slide is a much more powerful phone, and the year-old HTC myTouch 4G has better benchmark numbers than the new myTouch phones. I like the keyboard-less myTouch and think it's about even with the new Exhibit II. These new phones are not powerhouses.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly ~Hi Bob, If the two phones are the same price, how much would the phone cost if you you ONLY buy the phone? (no contract, i already have a plan but i dropped my other phone in the sink, i just want to buy a phone, JUST A PHONE) Thank You Have A Great Day.

  • @ii8Untouchable $280

  • @ii8Untouchable I hate to give prices here, as they change all the time. Your best bet is to go to Wirefly, look up either phone, and click on the "Replacement cost" button. That's the cost of the phone without a contract. If I post a price here, someone will come along in a month and say. "But dude, it's $50 cheaper on ebay."

    Bob Kovacs

  • @ii8Untouchable Hello. Im not Bob but $279.99.

    Good price I must say.

  • Would you recommend getting the mytouch Q. I was thinking of getting it since it seems like a nice affordable smartphone. Would apps off the android market work well with it, or would another T-mobile phone be better. I really don't want to spend huge amounts of money though, so hopefully these phones get good reviews.

  • @JohnGunz85 The myTouch Q is okay but he myTouch 4G Slide is a better phone for T-Mobile. At the moment, it's going for $49.99 on Wirefly but you should always check the prices... these things change often. If you can afford the $49.99, that's the one I would choose. As far as I know, all Android phones can access the Android Market and the apps work fine.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • When Are we going to see a full review? Im waiting for the review to see if I should get this phone:-)

  • @etotherescue2010 Maybe in a few days... early next week. I will probably review the myTouch (without a keyboard), but probably will not review the myTouch Q.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly Cool......thanks:-)

  • WTF why is LG making them now? LG fails with phones....

  • @SwordsmasterMarth I always go on the Internet and find as many facts as possible before doing these videos, but there just wasn't much about these two phones out there. I avoid non-official sites that publish specs, because I've found them to be unreliable. But thanks for the kind words.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly Which phone would you choose? new myTouch(not Q), galaxy s II, G2X, Amaze, or sensation?

  • @AAS0020 If it was my choice, I'd get the Sensation. It's a little less powerful than the Amaze, but I like the thinner profile and lighter weight.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • pockage lol

  • which one should i get Samsung Exhibit II 4G , T-Mobile myTouch Q , T-Mobile myTouch (new one), or the g2x

  • @MrRandomkidftw Lots of differences there. Do you want a physical keyboard? That's the myTouch Q. The most power? Probably the G2x. The Exhibit II and the new myTouch are small and light, with nice displays. I actually like the new myTouch quite a bit, as it has an *excellent* display in a very lightweight package.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • review for the mytouch soon?

  • my touch q wins in camera bc their is a flash

  • LG ruined these otherwise good phones

  • I want to get the my touch q

  • These are downfrades from the mytouch 4g and the mytouch 4g slide...i mean i wana like them but i cant...its seems like one has then features i want but then its missing something like a flash or a front faceing camera...Htc would have done a better job ... I mean lg doesnt suck but they can do better than this...the best phone by far that they have produced in my honest opinion was the g2x

  • they are both down grades from two phones that have already been released......FAIL

  • what was the point in making another my touch, the htc my touch 3G LOOKS BETTER THEN THESE TWO PHONES

  • When is the release date for the mytouch q? It's been rumored for November 2nd, but there hasn't been any announcements or anything.

Also, do you know the full price for the phone?

  • @Tay21Dee Looks like the release date for both new myTouch phones is Nov. 9. I don't know the price yet and probably won't until the launch. It's always best to check on Wirefly.com after the launch to get the most accurate price.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly OK thank you. One more thing, in the video you said both phones have front facing cameras, and I looked at the specs on tmobile's website and it say's only the mytouch has a front facing camera. Why is it that only one of the phones would have a front-facing camera? Does it have to do with the slide out keyboard?

  • @Tay21Dee You could be right... I know the myTouch has a front camera and perhaps assumed that the Q did as well. I will check tomorrow when I can put my hands on the Q.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @Tay21Dee I checked and T-Mobile's site is right -- the myTouch Q does not have a front-facing camera. I don't know why LG/T-Mobile did that, because it is possible for sliding keyboard phones to have front cameras (myTouch 4G Slide, Samsung Epic 4G/Stratosphere). I'll try to fix the mistake in the video.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly Yeah, for me its a disappointment. A feature that I really wanted while getting a new phone was the front facing camera, but seeing how low the cost is for the phone, I think I'll still consider buying it, after all the main thing I care for is the keyboard.

  • Error- I heard "Hey everyone, this is Bob Kovacs" twice at the beginning.

  • @theIDKer Yeah, I heard that too but swear it is not in the original that I uploaded. Interestingly, I also had some problems uploading the exact same file type for my personal YouTube channel, so I think YouTube is having problems with AVCHD files.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly when will the reviews be up?

  • @latios1500 I don't know yet if one or both will be reviewed, and there are a couple other things to do first. Probably not this coming week, but maybe the week after.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • iphone durable haha wat a dumbass lol

  • i dont like the fact that manufactures are making thinner phones. they start to look and feel really cheap. they dont feel premium like HTC's phone. The iPhone thinnest is nice only because its durable. i dont think smartphones need to be a any thinner

  • @wirefly which phone do u think will cost less

  • @cjizzal96 What phone are you pricing? The new LG myTouch phones are not yet sold, so they are not on Wirefly.com.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly I could not find te replacement cost button.

  • @wirefly do you know how much it will be in the regular tmobile store?

  • @wirefly will you have a special price for these phones if we get a new contract with t mobile

  • @cjizzal96 I don't know yet what the price these phones will be, but we are almost always less expensive than a T-Mobile store.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly i meant the mytouch q

  • @wirefly would u recomend this over the samsung galaxy ace

  • @camcamoo7 The myTouch Q by LG is probably a little faster than the Samsung Galaxy Ace, and the myTouch can do 4G. The Q also has a keyboard, which the Galaxy Ace doesn't have. If you compared the Galaxy Ace to the myTouch by LG (no Q), then I'd say the myTouch is definitely better.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • Sorry dont mean to be mean but is you guys at wirefly sold off contract SMARTPHONES i would buy from you

  • @mobiletechkid Wirefly does sell off-contract phones. Choose the phone you want and click on the "Replacement cost" button... that's the off-contract price.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • My MyTouch 4g is soo disappointed right now

  • @wirefly when do these come out and how much will they be?

  • @latios1500 I think they come out next week, but Wirefly's price hasn't been set yet. They will probably be at the low end of "affordable."

    Bob at Wirefly

  • tmobile has failed horribly

  • hey bob!! i think the sound if off...example, i could still hear you fumbling with the plastic after you put it down o_O

  • @bluestarkad17 Wierd... I just played it and I start it twice! It definitely didn't start twice when I reviewed the edited version prior to uploading. I'll have to check that on Monday. When did you hear an audio incongruity?

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly i just noticed it when i saw you put down the plastic wrappers, but i still heard the plastic sound...and i heard it start twice to, but i figured that it was just a part that was edited...i also thought it was off because your hand movements weren't matching up to what you were saying(hope i explained that right)...no biggie tho...it was still an EPIC TWIN unboxing!!

  • LG doesnt seem to be interested in making screens 4in and up....

  • just when i thought LG was dead....are they not making anymore wp7 phones??

  • I like the mytouch with out the keyboard but no flash and its screen looks to be amoled cuz its blue and the mytouch Q look like its a LCD screen and it look.like it don't have a from cam and if they put both together they would make a OK looking phone

  • LG never gives much memory 2 to 4 maximum. HTC always gives 8 to 16gb of memory

  • I didnt know that thanks for the info. Im on Sprint so i guess thats why i didnt know.

  • idc ,my mytouch 4G slide beats diss crap.

  • All Android phones go to the home screen no matter if they have a sim or not. Love the reviews thanks.
