DP may have started out as a ripoff, but he evolved into his own complex character. If you were to compare the two today, you would see very few similarities.

Except for the rare exceptions like Darkseid, RandomGuy does these shorts using mostly characters that are 1) releasing a new movie 2) have a film of their own or 3) if there's a joke about them not geting a movie (ie. Justice League, Col. Nick Fury, Batman Begins). Since Deathstroke is not in any of DC's planned film projects, his prescence would be irrelevant to the point. Deathstroke would really be only good for one joke: "You're in my seat."
