  • The Girls of Martinfield / Jean's Reel

  • she is a very, very strong musician!!!!

  • Beautiful, both Shannon and her "squeezebox"!!

  • I randomly ordered her album from Rounder Records back in the early / mid 90's and have never regretted it.

  • Wickedly good job...amazing! I sure would love to know the name of that squeezebox, what a great sound.

  • newfieharp its a 2 row button accordian

  • OMG I love this so much! I love her as well. What a jewel.

  • unreal as always :)

  • Very nice playing.

  • saw her in Manchester with Luka Bloom quite a few years back - vert good too

  • I was there - and can truthfully say that Trafalgar Sq rocked/jigged that day - the best yet!

  • Love it. Sharon the Magic fingers )))

  • She is such a lovely person! I was talking to her in Kingtuts! Going to see her again next week in Glasgow again. I can't wait x

  • the second tune is called...Jeans Reel , it's a donegal reel

  • That will surprise an awful lot of people in Scotland , not least Phil Cunningham who plays it on his "Airs and graces" recording and credited "Jean's Reel" to Bobby MacLeod, and describes it as published by Emerald Music. Bobby was a dance band leader who used to own the Mishnish Hotel in Tobermoray, and named it for his wife Jean.

  • the first one is The Phil Cunningham set

  • Sharon, I've heard that last tune by you so many times , what is the name of it.

  • Wonderful! Shaky video & a bit of sound drop-out just add to the ambiance. Thanks for posting. For once I'm gonna put hand in pocket c& buy some of this lovely lady's CDs.

  • she is absolutely amazing

  • Just great. Really annoyed I missed this. Sharon is one of the nicest people on our planet, the musicians all love her. Her brother Garry taught my nieces the tin whistle and if that ain't fame by asociation, well what is??

  • their is nobody else in the world who can play music as good as this. And she does it with the same effort she uses to brush her hair.

  • worlds best by a mile

  • Paddys day concert was great and my 12 year old son was mesmerised by Sharon, Gerry and Jim.

  • Sharon Shannon Rocks =]

    OMG Love Her Mooch
