...its missing the spring without it, when you pull it back that box will not load the gun. so choose to buy a new one, or check your chances with ebay to buy a new spring.

i think for that gun you need a recoil spring,

get a spring thats on the barrel and then put the slide back on.

I have one, its freaking great. I take it you CAN take the front barrel thing off? And I think you are missing the hammer. When I first got mine, I pulled the hammer back, and the slide became lose. I think the hammer is what holds the slide on. If you lost the hammer, you might be SOL. BTW, how difficult was it to take the front barrel thing off? and can you put it back on?
