@actionfleet the Fender Black top Jazzmaster lacks that as well, it doesn't really matter if it doesn't have one or not unless you break a string and want to continue using the guitar:P
@seanlovesradiohead by BF he means a "blackface" fender amp , from the 60s such as a princeton reverb or deluxe reverb etc...anyways thanks for this demo, it is one of the few good demos on this guitar on youtube.
@bbaasje Thanks very much, erm I'm no expert when it comes to modding a guitar but I can't see any reason why not, it's just a scratch plate after all, I may do the same myself at some point just for fun and switch back and forth pretending i have a new guitar! haha, but to honest I quite like the adanoised plates, I like them on Fender P Bass guitar's too! Cheers.
I definitely like the look of the gold anodised plate on a white body like this. I really want one of these Jazzmasters. The way they've moved the trem plate closer to the bridge looks a bit odd, although I knnow why they do it.
Good demo, sounds awesome. And thank you for not playing a load of tired old white man blues or "classic Rock" wankery, but enough to show how the guitar sounds.
@PantheonLincoln Cheers mate! That actually means alot to me, I hate demo video's of people wanking all over their guitar's! and pulling faces like they're being possesed by the licks Maaaannn, haha, so Yeah I know where you're coming from mate. Probably why I got a dislike straight away haha, they were expecting me to play some blues licks. Cheers again mate!
i wonder if i should put an original fender jm tremolo on it (because the squier one lacks the lock button)

Thanks for making this video. Everyone else's video of this guitar --I'm just hearing them picking the strings from the camera mic.

for a squire, this thing is extremely decent sounding, then again its probably the same cost as what those really cheap fender strats go for now
