@schmendriks To reply in such a way does not suggest that you are not idiotic. I am ignorant just as you are and everyone else. How am I supposed to respond to such a narrow abusive question? Can you recognize that you are an Asshole?
Does this man made peace you speak of consist of a one world Jewish government with gentiles living under communism where their free will is suppressed?
The question is, why are rabbis lying to Christians that they can be righteous gentiles knowing that they are breaking the first command, according to the rabbis and modern orthodoxy? Why grossly mislead the Christians? To the Jews, worshiping Jesus is no different than worshiping a man, which is Idolatry.
@SupraSovereign you're right. worshiping a man G-d or the son of G-d--meaning G-d doesn't not have a physical form, and no son of man (sounds like Yosef/Joseph doesn't it?) is G-d. I can't believe christians are so ignorant of those basic facts. Personally, I think christianity is just as bad as paganism. One worships a man, the other a statue.
You shouldn't ever give credence to the United Nations. Those who put that together are deliberately trying to reduce the world's population.
A question for you to answer, please. I have spoken to rabbis about the Noachide laws and asked if Christians can be righteous gentiles. They said that they could be righteous gentiles. Then I asked if a Christian is breaking the first command by worshiping a man (Jesus) To this the rabbi said, Yes, Christians are breaking the first command.
There is salvation for all men, disregarding whether they are Jewish or not. Personally, the conflict with the goy was unwisely bred out of hatred. Jews at the end of the day are descendants of Noah, descendant of Adam. All man was born as one through Adam. Therefor, I teach that the only law that Heaven pronounces to the four winds is, 'Adan is one.'

It's always, "Non-jews" "non-muslims" - non-people. They never refer to others as, "Other people" because that would imply that we're equal - which is something all three of the Abrahamic faiths strongly disagree with.
God will save the gentiles as well as long as they are loving people. Indeed you have to accept God through Yeshua the lamb but the lord I think will give you a very clear idea that you need to accept him on judgment day or else you shall die forever but I'm sure all good, loving people will accept him. Even non loving Jews won't find heaven.
fucking cock suckers ...who the fuck do you bastards think you are ,..chosen people? ,so who was telling you cunts that then , dont tell me JEWS ...listen assholes ,there is no fucking gods ,its all a lie ,YA BIG IDIOTS
Is there a Jewish tradition about how Abraham came to Believe in the LORD? I've often wondered about this as Scripture, as far as I can remember, does not touch on this detail.
I think there is a midrash which says that Abraham came to the acceptance of G-d gradually. He started by questioning idolatry, which led to canceling out one false view after another (the sun cannot be G-d because it sets at night, the moon cannot be G-d because it goes down in the morning, etc.), and eventually he realized that G-d was something infinitely greater than any form of idolatrous worship

.. all 12 tribes of Israel are apple of God's eye), in spite of refusing His Son Jesus.God is sad about this. but keeps His promise that Israel shall be saved. . A promised to Abraham, a covenant forever., From Aleph-Tau, Alpha-omega, Beginning to end. Israel 's names are written on the gates of the FUTURE New Jerusalem - seeBIBLE end inRevelation chapter 21:10..... amazing! future event. the Jew first, the gentile 2nd, I Thank God he sent his Son to save me
BEST time to be alive, you mentioned about the Messiahcoming to rule /reign forever, many Christians (me ) beleive Jesus, Messiah, a Jew, from line of David, came to SAVE a lost world, Israel, first - Israel was looking for a world Ruler. many receptive Gentiles. accepted. His return BOTH was predicted by the prophets . Now, end of the age , in Meggiddo(Battle of Battles)Jesus will rescue Israel from anialation, this time, in the clouds on white horse.,not a donkey.
I dunno 'bout Jew or Christian or Muslim. I do know that I follow 1 God: the God of Abraham. It matters nothing anything else. To Him< I am his. Always.
Because they cannot stand the thought of Jesus being Messiah. They hate Jesus and say that He didn't even exist.
I walked around the mall in Houston, Texas trying to get the Jewish opinion about Obama before the elections and once they found out I was not voting for him, they literally turned their backs on me and treated me like dog doop. I tried to warn them that Obama was not a friend of Israel and they hated me for even thinking the thought.
videomission: Try meeting Jews on a Jewish plateau. Try introducing Jews to a Jewish Messiah with a Jewish Name. Try leaving the heathen festivals that Christianity wants Jews to convert to! Ha. Try not saying that the LAW was nailed to the Cross!!!! Try NOT to convert Jews to this relgion made up by Constantine and embraced by Evangelicals. Try studying with Jews at a REAL Orthodox synagogue. You can take your Messiah YESHUA with you, HE will agree with everything going on there! :-)
Hatorah: I've never attempted to convert a Jew in my life. I have actually thought about searching for a Jewish community in my area so that I could learn how to live by the laws that the modern Jewish people live by. I'm a girl, though. I cannot study with the guys at the synagogue. So what can I do? Do you have any suggestions? I WILL take my Messiah Yehoshua with me and He will teach me what I need to know. Do you know anyone near Gastonia, N.C.?
Hey Video, you should try to not generalize people. Just because Jews do not believe Jesus meets the qualifications of the messiah doesn't mean we hate Jesus and Christians. Maybe the people in the mall were just really liberal or they don't like being approached while they are shopping. It isn't fair to jump to the conclusion that if a jewish person treats you poorly that is because of their faith and therefore all jews hate Christians.
I think the Jewish people have blessed the nations of the world, just as G*d said they would. I love'em! Except I don't think the feeling is mutual since we Christians believe Jesus to be Messiah.
I believe in the same G*d that the Jewish people believe in, it's jus that I believe that Jesus of Nazereth was/is the Messiah they had been waiting for.
as Muslim i was told deed is complementary to faith and faith is build on unity of god to make long story short if you associate anything with God no matter how good of person you are there is no heaven for you.
Re: videomission. I have a joke for you: what's the difference between an antisemite and a Jew? -You ask the antisemite about Jews and he will answer: theyr secretive, mean bankers (or communists) and dirty...but what about your friend Motti? except for Motti, he's sincere & excellent. Then you ask a Jew about Jews and he will say they have made great contributions to the world...what about Motti? Motti! that crazy bastard! It's a joke, but if you're gonna shittalk do it on individuals.
I think that jokes about race and religion lighten the tension on the lines between. Otherwise, they would snap. By getting us to laugh about humorous perspectives and situations, a heavy load is lifted off of the lines and our souls. Thank you, and lets all pray for Ronen and his family.
Jews don't like Christians, do they? Tell the truth. You say the Messiah should bring in peace to all in the world. But that is what you "think." You ways are not G*d's ways and your thoughts are not His thoughts. So how can you presume what it would be like when the Messiah comes? And what kind of secret thoughts do you have against Christians after the conversation is over? :( I wish I had Jewish friends, but i don't think they would want me as a friend.
Want proof? Don't ask me. Ask your G*d. He will tell you. The Jews are the only ones in existance who supposedly are close to their G*d relationship-wise. If you are, then ask Him yourself. He'll tell ya.
i do not think "jews" are as angry about you believing in jesus as you think we are. honestly, you can be outspoken in your belief and still have jewish friends. i have lots of christian friends, we discuss theology makes no difference to me.
you think jews hold themselves above everyone else.. i don't think it's true.
i am fortunate in that the god i believe in is tolerant & compassionate & treats all his children as equals & loves them equally too whether they believed in him or not!! we are all of the same blue print.
i am fortunate in that the god i believe in is tolerant & compassionate & treats all his children as equals & loves them equally too whether they believed in him or not!! we are all of the same blue print.
I think all muslims (in the broad sense of the world eg those who worship God alone and have accepted their messenger in their time), will end up in heaven eventually. some will pass in hell for a time acording to their sins.
Christianity preaches if you don't accept Jesus as your personal Christ and savoir then you are going to burn in Hell. Judaism says it is perfectly okay to not be Jewish and that righteous gentiles(good people) will have a place in the world to come. What is so horrible about the Jewish view espepcially in comparison to the Christian view?
even if someone is a good and righteous man, according to judiesm, if he does not believe in Johavah he will not go into heaven (its one of the 7 mitzvote of noh...). So also according to you at the end of the day its all boils down to faith in a spcific God.
Well yeah, you need to believe in G-d but I still don't understand why you are opposed to the laws of Noah. Christians, Muslims, Zoroastrians etc who follow the 7 laws will have a place in the world to come. Those who don't follow the laws of Noah will NOT burn in hell like Christians and Muslims wrongly believe. G-d is forgiving, merciful, and loving.
@StephSilvermen According to Jewish belief, a righteous gentile follows the 7 Noahide laws. I think the contention might be that Nohide observance is subordinate and subject to Jewish authority. It kind of puts a new twist on the story of Adam - who was not actually created in God's image. It doesn't say that anywhere in the Bible. It says "man" was created in God's image, but refers to a separate creation of beings at a different time then Adam, who was drawn from the earth ->
Respond to this video... -> taken from the field to keep the garden of Eden humming, ostensibly in terms of horticulture and agriculture, with an emphasis on tending orchards, by the sounds of it. He did not utter his first words till after he ate of the "apple". I digress. It could easily be inferred that non Jews were meant for slavery. Although the Jubilee originated with Noah, the sabbath, and therefore any holiday related to the Sabbath like the Jubilee became forbidden ->
Respond to this video... -> ...for the Noahide to observe. Punishable by death. On first glance it seems as though religious practice is either completely forbidden to severely curtailed for the righteous gentiles. Although very few know this, almost everyone has an unconscious antipathy for this kind of subjection, yet ironically almost everyone would do anything to avoid the responsibility of freedom, so we are nevertheless enslaved by our lusts and blame the Jews anyway because ->
Respond to this video... they must have made our bed, set up the trap as it were. Mythology presents parable after parable of the son defeating the father. This was accomplished by Jews when they declared Noah a failure for getting drunk and stripped him of his divine title, yet given the world to rule, save God's chosen. He would be very much like our Catholic pope carrying out Gods will for his flock. In this case the flock would have to acknowledge their father as a failure ->
Respond to this video... And obey him anyway. I can feel the ire rising right now, can you? Yet, there is a profound truth in all pervasive myths. When that truth is discerned, either the myth will be integrated and bring peace to all of man kind, or fall away, like an outworn skin, yet leaving something new and more promising to lead the way to living in peace.
First, the question was, what does the bible (Tanach) say about gentiles and the world to come. well the Tanach does not mention "The World to Come"!! its something that evolved only later on. Only after Christians started speaking about it do we see in mentioned in Jewish litterateur...
Second, what you're implying is that if I'm a good and moral person, who give charity and never lies etc. I am not worthy of "The World to Come" just because i don't believe in the same God you do??
The world to come (Olam Haba) is mentioned in the Tanakh, especially in Isaiah! For example: Isaiah 25:8 Over all the nations: He will destroy death forever or Isaiah 2:17 where it says that the whole world will come to worship the one, true G-d.There is no official conception of Jewish afterlife and it is not the main focus of Judaism, but the World to Come is mentioned and described in the Tanakh.
I thought righteous gentile was a noachide.. I.e if a gentile is not a noachide and willfully violates things like idolatry ?? a buddhist is not a noachide.
A Noahide (son of Noah) is a nonjew that follows the 7 laws of Noah and is a righteous gentile. Nonjews are held to a lesser standard of what is considered idolatry than Jews are so I think Buddhists and Christians can still be Noahides
StephSilvermen: "Thou shalt have no other gods before ME". End of question. Buddhists are NOT considered holy people. Christians need to get out of the Constantine bondage and adhere to ALL the Commandments + 613 if they want to serve the GOD of Israel. They consider to be part of Israel therefore must do all the mitzvots....and the Shabbats....and the Holy Festivals prescribed by Hashem. We cannot try and squeeze everybody into Heaven by their good deeds. Mother Theresa did the deeds...
Non Jews are held to a lesser standard of idolatry than Jews are. You and I clearly recognize that praying to an image is idolatry but how is someone who has never read the Tanakh suppose to?
Steph: Mother T. did the mitzvots but on her dying bed, doubted the very existence of GOD. Does she still qualify as a righteous Gentile? Faith is not measured by good deeds...bur Faith is more like "the hope of things unseen" to concretize through our Holy One so we can glorify HIM and not man.
Though we all have our opinions, we should stick to the Written Word as our guidance. I don't know how Jews have come up with this doctrine of Noahide Law when in fact, Hashem gave the World 10 C.
How Judaism causes violence? All civilians living in Gaza are collectively guilty for Kassam attacks on Sderot, former Sephardi chief rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu has written in a letter to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
Eliyahu ruled that there was absolutely no moral prohibition against the indiscriminate killing of civilians during a potential massive military offensive on Gaza aimed at stopping the rocket launchings...........
............The letter, published in Olam Katan [Small World], a weekly pamphlet to be distributed in synagogues nationwide this Friday, cited the biblical story of the Shechem massacre (Genesis 34) and Maimonides' commentary (Laws of Kings 9, 14) on the story as proof texts for his legal decision.
This person is very dishonest in portraying Jewish view of non-Jews. Here is what one of the highest authorities had to say -- Rabbi Menachem Schneerson, leader of Chabad-Lubavitch.
The difference between a Jewish and a non-Jewish person stems from the common expression: Let us differentiate. Thus, we do not have a case of profound change in which a person is merely on a superior level. Rather, we have case of let us differentiate between totally different species........
........This is what needs to be said about the body: the body of a Jewish person is of a totally different quality from the body of (members) of all nations of the world A non-Jews entire reality is only vanity. The entire creation (of a non-Jew) exists only for the sake of the Jews.
Do followers of any of the dogmatic hierarchical religions have a place in the coming world? I don't see any of them surviving... It seems like what has been done in the dark for so many years is being revealed... the Kings & Queens of the past & present who transcend religious affiliations may not be liking the coming age of enlightenment.... should be fun ;) hehehehehe
You forget that G-d requires atonement for sin. And it is through the Messiah Yeshua that G-d redeems us from our sins. G-d raised Yeshua from the dead and Yeshua will return and bring forth the Kingdom of G-d. Then everyone will know that Yeshua is the one whom the G-d of Israel has made Messiah. The Torah requires blood. In fact, according to Torah, almost everything is purified with blood; indeed without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
From my understanding, a person is generally judged by the totality of their being, - not one aspect.
It is one of the seven commandments to all the inhabitants of the Earth to believe in G-d, but this is only one of 7 and G-d sees every single action, speech and even hears all the thoughts a person will have throughout his life.
This, in its entirety, is what a person's judgment will be based on.

Hello my friend i am not immersed into the womb of rome nor to any of its daughters or false teachings. HaShem has revealed this truth to me. I would not say anything that is not true because HaShem is my Judge. I know that my sins has been atoned through Yeshua HaMashiach. Yesha'yahu 52:13; 53 speaks of the suffering servant whom HaShem laid the guilt of us all. Yeshua was crushed because of our sins, and HaShem has redeemed us from our sins through Yeshua.
Young man~Perhaps you should listen to the wisdom of your elders.
Unless you get the Yetzer hara tamed and submit to the wisdom of those who have gone before you and stop following the Messi-anic crowd... your walk will continue to be tainted.
I suggest you go into a cave of learning at the Masters feet and relearn the basics to the pious walk before Ha'shem.
"Your words sound like christology 101 with a Hebrew name change. Messi-anic theology is which is what you are alluding to."
My words are from Torah, Tanakh, G-d opens the eyes of those who wish to know the truth, only HaShem can give you the true wisdom to have your eyes opened to his Word.
Young man, Considering that I have been in the service of Ha'shem for twice as long as you have been on the planet,..litterely walked out the Scrolls of Adonai' including being used to the Masters' glorification to raise the dead and feed the multitudes as a Tzaddik should do. That is all that Yeshua was, a man who went about doing good...certainly not to be given a title of diety but to be recognized as a Hebrew from the house of Hillel and taught much of what Hillel trusted and believed in.
Because you have used age, I will quote Elihu from Iyov 32. HaShem shows no favortism. He is Just with every human.
"I am young, and you are old, so I held back my opinion. I said, ' Age should speak; an abundance of years should teach wisdom.' But it is the spirit in a person, the breath from Shaddai, that gives him understanding - it isn't only the great who are wise or the aged who know how to judge. Therefore, I say, listen to me; I too will express my opinion." Iyov 32:5
We read how when Moshie and Aharon fell on their faces they gave themselves up to death.
Rabbi Yehuda says that men are repaid with the deeds that they do, but if they repent G-d will gather them back to Himself.
It is all about 'Reverence and Teshuva'..not about the killing stake of Yeshua.
Moreover it is worthy to mention the 'Merits of the Fathers' and their Obedience,... As it should be with us simple servants...obedience is greater than the sacrifice of bulls and rams.
Belief in G-d is one of the seven commandments given to Noach (Noah) and his descendants.
If you don't believe in G-d, you are violating this injunction. However, it's one of 7 and generally speaking G-d will judge a person based on his overall actions in life.
In my own personal opinion, this is even more true in our generation when if you look at history it is very hard to find G-d within the blood stained pages of our history books.
The person who told in Islam, it is faith that matters is wrong.
In Islam, deeds are very important. People are punished for their bad deeds and rewarded for the good deeds. Good deeds help in offsetting the bad deeds. Simply believing in God does not wipe out one's sins.
That is exactly what he is saying-we do not exclude others just because they do not follow our faith and Hashem. Many people I have talked to said they admire this principle rather than the all or nothing views of Islam and Christianity.

Maybe you should read a good book on body language, instead of just focusing on the Mishnah and other old books. I caught you lying a couple of times...No offense intented.
Eh, you can ask me about anything I say. I do not lie and always speak my mind.
Life is too short for lying and lying destroys the fabric of the universe.
The seal of Torah is truth.
I'm sorry if you read a book and are choosing to to judge me by it. That's your call - but my statements are backed by my knowledge of Torah. If you want me to discuss further, just let me know.

Look, I'm not gonna argue with you about what you said in your video. I'm just saying that your body language tells us a lot about what you are really saying. I mean, anybody with law enforcement training would tell you. Rule number one, never touch your face/head with your hands when you are expressing an idea. It's the easiest way to find out if what you are telling is sincere or not.
The same bullshit like "People with beards have to hide something" lol. In german that is called "Gleichmacherei"... simply make everybody act and react the same and judge him on this behaviour.

Indeed you have to accept God through Yeshua the lamb but the lord I think will give you a very clear idea that you need to accept him on judgment day or else you shall die forever but I'm sure all good, loving people will accept him. Even non loving Jews won't find heaven.

Is there a Jewish tradition about how Abraham came to Believe in the LORD? I've often wondered about this as Scripture, as far as I can remember, does not touch on this detail.
zorksvik 1 year ago
I think there is a midrash which says that Abraham came to the acceptance of G-d gradually. He started by questioning idolatry, which led to canceling out one false view after another (the sun cannot be G-d because it sets at night, the moon cannot be G-d because it goes down in the morning, etc.), and eventually he realized that G-d was something infinitely greater than any form of idolatrous worship

StephSilvermen 2 years ago 9
even if someone is a good and righteous man, according to judiesm, if he does not believe in Johavah he will not go into heaven (its one of the 7 mitzvote of noh...). So also according to you at the end of the day its all boils down to faith in a spcific God.
GkYerBlues 2 years ago

GkYerBlues 2 years ago
The world to come (Olam Haba) is mentioned in the Tanakh, especially in Isaiah! For example: Isaiah 25:8 Over all the nations: He will destroy death forever or Isaiah 2:17 where it says that the whole world will come to worship the one, true G-d.There is no official conception of Jewish afterlife and it is not the main focus of Judaism, but the World to Come is mentioned and described in the Tanakh.

A Noahide (son of Noah) is a nonjew that follows the 7 laws of Noah and is a righteous gentile. Nonjews are held to a lesser standard of what is considered idolatry than Jews are so I think Buddhists and Christians can still be Noahides
StephSilvermen 2 years ago
StephSilvermen: "Thou shalt have no other gods before ME". End of question. Buddhists are NOT considered holy people. Christians need to get out of the Constantine bondage and adhere to ALL the Commandments + 613 if they want to serve the GOD of Israel. They consider to be part of Israel therefore must do all the mitzvots....and the Shabbats....and the Holy Festivals prescribed by Hashem. We cannot try and squeeze everybody into Heaven by their good deeds. Mother Theresa did the deeds...
Hatorah 2 years ago
Non Jews are held to a lesser standard of idolatry than Jews are. You and I clearly recognize that praying to an image is idolatry but how is someone who has never read the Tanakh suppose to?
StephSilvermen 2 years ago

Of course we strive for belief - but a person is

Hello,
The person who told in Islam, it is faith that matters is wrong.
In Islam, deeds are very important. People are punished for their bad deeds and rewarded for the good deeds. Good deeds help in offsetting the bad deeds. Simply believing in God does not wipe out one's sins.
DiscoveringIslamOrg 1 year ago
That is exactly what he is saying-we do not exclude others just because they do not follow our faith and Hashem. Many people I have talked to said they admire this principle rather than the all or nothing views of Islam and Christianity.

Or if they have a scrach.
I don't lie, friend. Sorry if your book says otherwise. Again, if you want to question my points based on what the Torah says, feel free.
But Jews are commanded not to lie and we take that very seriously.
We are permitted, though, to touch our faces if we feel the need without thought that others might somehow conclude we are lying.
