The reason why you block in the middle of the flip is due to the fact that it cancels out the flip animation halfway. There is no other way to do this since the flip animation renders you unable to take any other action but wait until it's finished. By the time it is, you won't have enough time to jump and slash, so you're going to have to cancel out the flip effect to be able to do this ability.

A little tip:

If you miss your opponent with the slash, try something a little different.

When you Flip (uppercut) press jump BEFORE you block. Then hit block in the normal timing and you will automatically jump.

In other words, you will FLIP -> JUMP -> BLOCK (AT THE END OF THE FLIP) -> SLASH -> BLOCK.

Well for me I dont look up when I bf or dbf Insta I just look straight. For me flip>block>(LOOK straight DONT look up ) then bf or dbf.

Just remember to look down, it might not be perfect instafall, but its a hell of a lot harder to safefall out of! (unless of course you want to do a insta combo, dont look down then =P)

for everyone asking... yes its very possible to safefall out of it. Unless done JUST RIGHT by looking all the down, and doing the slash so fast as if you could tbf instafall, i can safefall out of every instafall. Thats the only way its impossble to be safefalled out of. Most pros you run into arent going to fall for a simple instafall, but typical players may be stumped!

the way i do insta fall is i jump at virtually the same moment as i block(from flipp)and slash...its hard to get that slash in..cuz some times it freeezes..or ur too late...

it is possible to jump on an insta fall, but it is considerably harder than to do than on a normal flip or a dagger lunge. u need to learn instakill because in insta games, its against the rules to shoot someone on the ground. Hoped i helped u!

Ok, ill tell u, the only way you can safe fall from IF, is when you are just lucky, or if you practiced it lots of times, I myself can't do it always, because your pritty much stunned when it happens, only people with a reflex of 0,01 second can do it always. ( My Opinion )
