You know the strain of singing all out, day after day tends to put a large amount of strain on the vocal chords, resulting in the distortion that you hear here. Also, if the singer doesn't have proper moniter levels on stage it tends to effect the performence. There are alot of factors involved in being the perfect performence artist.
