Towards the end you get badass upgrades which make you almost indestructible. One of the best NES games ever. I never really finished it. It takes just so damn long. But at least they give you codes after each stage. Thanks for uploading man. Brings back a lot of memories :-)
Yo if you enter a special code in the password screen you can play through levels 51-100! However.... I found it in a video game magazine, but I cannot remember what issue or magazine it was. If ya wanna start on level 73 put in this secret code.

The power-up you're talking about is "Mystery (Question Mark)", that makes you invincible to enemies and bombs for 35 seconds. In my exemple, i don't have this power-up but you forgot one of them dude: The "Flame-Proof " power-up that makes you invincible to your own bombs and this one lasts until you lose a life. So, in my exemple, i'm not invincible against monster but against flames, yes.
this is a bad ass game than the god of war franchise LoL. this game has no cheats at all only power ups which is pretty cool. MULTIPLE BOMBS, DETONATOR, SPEED BOOTS, INVULNERABILITY, ..............

It was initally on Apple II, and then came to other platforms including the NES. The game involves a character who cannot jump who can dig holes from either side of him to trap his pursuers temporarily. He can also climb.

It's not hacked, and there's no cheat here. If you can pass several stages without dying, you get all "power-up" icons, like the ability to ignore walls, become invulnerable to your own bombs, etc... But if you die, you lose all of them.
