@KennyBallyG1 Things have been slower in the area than we would have liked for the past year. But seem to be picking up again. We are not hiring right now but thanks for asking.
@ootsam This timber frame was made of several different species of wood. The majority of the timber frame is of Eastern White Pine - the posts and knee braces. The center king post and the dragon beams are of Douglas Fir. The spines are of Black Walnut - we think they add another dimension of beauty to the frame as we as strengthening these connections.....so we leave them "proud' . Thanks for noticing.
Oh, man! I love the sound track! Reminds me of the last wake I went to. The twisted beams are definitely a nice touch. I was an apprentice at Goshen but they taught me more about how to screw clients than about timber framing. Things like how to slip in beams that didn't make #2 grade, offering kiln dried T&G ceiling boards but delivering sopping wet blue stained borer riddled shit boards, and how to screw people out of a buck in general. Joel's a good egg, though. Nice frame, seriously.
thats so beautiful!
