nice Romania !! profecy : Ukraine will colapse like this : Crimeea will become independent, because it is already autonomus , and the Eastern part of Ukraine will be Novorossiya, 10 milion russians live in Ukraine , and the number is even bigger! Not mentioning that Herta County from Bukovina was never in any other possession but Romanians, Not Kievan Rus, nor Halic, etc; USSR took it in 1940, Romanians were in 1940 as of 95%.

So the presence of daco-romanians is older with at least 700 years before Kievan Rus, not mentioning that dacii were 1000 years older here. But I have to admit , they lack STATE ORGANISATION even they have their own LAws, so therefore you belive now in 21 Century in Ukraian partial and simplistic nationalist history.

Arguments: The Vlahs/molovians/romanianssn are descendends of daco-romani from Antiquity. Carpii and Costobocii were the dacians tribes living BEFORE Kievan RUS existed., that means before Rus Conquest. Romans come here and conquered the daci and formed the romanian people. Did you visited the Trajan's WALL, the wall of Antiquity who is in Bukovina?

BUT READ HISTORY MY FRIEND THE ROMANIAN STATES WERE LAST IN EUROPE TO GET ORGANISED BECAUSE ROMANIAN LAND WAS CONQUERED BY BULGARS, KIEVAN RUS, HUNGARY BEFORE THE ESTABLIHMENT OF ANY STATE BY ROMANIANS.

The fact is that Slavs come onto this land when the Romanians existed , but not organised, as the rest of Romania. That is why in 1775 thre was no ukrainian in Bukovina., because the land was inhabited by Romanians/vlahs/ moldavians.

I will not argue with you due to my lack of knowledge in ukrainian history. Maybe you are right. But one thing i know for sure. The Hotin fortress was initially build by the moldavian prince Alexander the Good. And this is a fact.

Until 1775 there was no ukrainian people in northern Bucovian. The habsburgs have encouraged the establishment of ukrainians from Galitia in Bucovian in order to strenghten their occupation of this ancient Romanian teritory. Now the ukrainians are the majority in the area thanks to the policy of URSS. the Romanians were deported or assimilated. Bucovina is romanian!

Again: You say that Romanian people are eastern Latin. OK. "Ţara de Sus" was the Romanian name, during the Principality of Moldavia (1346-1862). But Bukovyna (the territory whith Slavic name and inhabited by Slavic people) was a Kiev´s vassal State!!! And later it was a Halych-Volyn´s vassal state too!!!

I didn't write a word about the history of the fortress. But I confirm that it is located in the Ukrainian city of Khotyn.

some valachs and rutenians but mostly dark forest. since XIV moldavian state later under polish, turkish and austrian rule. moldavians, rutenians, polish, jews, armenians... history of bukovina is history of central-eastern europe. and remember that in 1621, with some cossak help, we kicked your ass at chocim. well, mostly turkish ass but yours too :-)
