just like people complain that Africa is not a country, lemme tell you that America isnt one either. The USA is a country, but "America" was referred to by Europeans as the entire New World. Brazil was Portugal's "America", the Spanish-speaking countries were Spain's America, just like the 13 colonies were Britain's America. So if you say you come from "America" you might as well come from Brazil or Colombia.

Africa=Alkebulan (Original name of Africa)=continent i.e. physical land mass. Ghana, Gambia, Namibia, Mali, etc are the countries WITHIN the continent of Alkebulan. Hope that clears up any misunderstanding.

Love it. As a former aid worker in Africa I can say without a doubt that I have seen this played out for real on a number of occasions. Hell, I've been Kathy more or less - at least when I started out!
