  • Ableton live = Troubleton live

  • @Slapdub Says the guy who fails to learn the software. Put time into it instead of writing shitty comments on it. Obviously you given up on it and raged lolololol

  • I got a Akai MPD 26 today with ableton 8 live lite and have no idea what the fuck im doing >_>

  • @DoodleAids hahaha same here buddy.

  • Dude... bless you... for sneezing mid tutorial ALSO: have you ever used Blue Cat Remote Control with ableton? if so.. could you tell me how to map it in ableton?

  • daft do you know some hompages i can download finished maps and if you could give me a tips if there other programs that i can work with without abelton?

  • this work with nanopad and nanokontroll without any broblems right daft ?

  • @OUWATZAHLE08 Definitely!

  • When i double click on what i want to map, nothing goes up to my midi mappings, any idea of what's wrong?

  • @ANDERSjpPT Not entirely sure :/. Some VST's might just not work.

  • @ANDERSjpPT Make sure that record mode is disarmed on your MIDI track; that tripped me up a bit.

  • your the only person that ive found that explained that in a simple way..haha thanks

  • I click configure and then click on a parameter of the VST but the level does not pop up on the bottom

  • gesundheit

  • thank you thank you

  • any idea how you reverse audio in live?

  • Well. You could use something like Audacity to reverse it and then put it back into live as a sample. Not sure about in Live. Check the Audio Plugins under Live Devices in Ableton Live. There might be something there.

  • @Daftpunkfan123

Double click on the wave sample and it opens up the section where you can see the wave. On the left in the "Sample" section you'll see "Rev". Tip: If you see the rev is going slowly in the arrangement section "consolidate" the sample (Command+J on a mac))so that only the bit you want to Rev is being Reversed not the entire original sample.

  • In the clip overview (double click on the audio clip), make sure the sample box is showing by clicking the little icon at the bottom... there are 3 buttons near the top - Edit, Save and Rev. Just click rev!

  • @whatatidymess If you double click on the audio file then you will see it come up on the effects board. Over the Transpose area there are 5 buttons one of which "Rev." will reverse the audio.

  • @whatatidymess double click your audio so that it is open in the sample editor... under the sample table, there are three buttons |Edit|Save|Rev.| ... simply press Rev

  • @whatatidymess If by reverse audio you mean make it play backwards then yes, you can.

  • Hi again, I din't have the remote button on in prefs, so working fine now, cheers.

  • Try this. Go to Options>Preferences, and then click MIDI sync. Under control surface, click the first box and select one of the Axiom Controllers. Pick the one with the same number of keys as your MIDI device. Might work.

  • a up Squire, thanks, this new feature was confusing me, but makes sense now.

can't get the mapping working though, keyboards working fine, but will not map to anything.
