Is that a Cub ? I used to fly around a lot back in time... before the GPS ... and with headwinds was very easy to run out of gas '-) my best landings are with C140 ...Be90 200 LR and CE 500 can't compare to 30kts crosswind landing with one of these machines ...take care.

Yeah very easy to run out of gas with a groundspeed of 25 knots :) Happened on several occasions. Thank's for droppn by ;)
