I feel for all those that have lost there jobs. Good luck to them in chasing better payouts. However, the statement in the last minute of this clip is wholly inaccurate. Visteon UK was a limited company and therefore when it collapsed, the personal assetts of all its employees including directors were not liable for reposession. A director does not profit by resigning his post before closure. It just looks better on his CV. Technically, he sacrificed his own claim to a statutory redundancy!
