IMO 1 place is CryEngine3 (Crysis 2, Warface) next is Unreal Engine (of course, the newest versi) next engine is Frostbite 2, and fourth is a CryEngine2.

@MrBLADESTORM Metro 2033 is by far the #1 game I have played that my system has issues running AA I can run it dx11 with 1080P and Tes but once you enable DOF and AA you need a beast GPU.

@KingRh1no not really no. the graphics are great, i just finished a match in multiplayer and its really a extremelly fun game with extremelly good graphics, but the fact that its an prerendered engine makes it fall of the pedestal. at the moment cryengine 3 is the best because its 100% realtime and is dx11 compatible. just tought you should know, its always good to learn new stuff, at least thats how i think x)

I played both games with lots of mods, and also modded both quite a bit. Crysis 2 just looks less impressive sometimes because it's smaller scale gameplay.
