The begging is Latin :D and the reason it ends 1/4 of the way is because the rest is another song called, "Abandoned". Hope I helped, the title means "Grace of the Gods" in Latin, (I only too one year so it'll take me a bit to remember the rest of it)
Neither. the songs are loosely based on the story called Goethe's Faust. the summarized versions in the video's are from Wikipedia. but I agree, it is VERY amazing.
I find the band to be very good. I was introduced to it by a friend a little over a year ago, and i have already listened to all of there song's. Including the one's before khan, or kahn (Can't remember how to spell it) came to be apart of the band. kahn is a much better singer i belive. I have yet to find an actual song by Kamelot that i dont like. these three songs are actualy in my top 20 lol. so i have to give this a good rating.
Sub sole nihil novi est. Ad aspera per aspera, quaerite prime Regnum Dei. Ante bellum memento mori.
"There is nothing new under the sun. Through your troubles, to the clouds, seekest thou first the Kingdom of God. Before the war, remember your own mortality.
I'm knew to Kamelot but after listening to their album The Black Halo I must admit I'm loving it. The music is very good, the singer has an amazing voice and the lyrics are very deep. Indeed one of the best metal bands, I hooked up to it.
thanx for description, this is very helpful with understanding the album

For some reason this song ends 1/4 in on Pandora, annoying as hell, seeing how good it is.

I wonder if it's possible to make a petition to make the album story into a movie... and present it to the officials. >8D

@Blackembers0001243 The album's concept is based on Goethe's Faust.

Faust is such an incredibly sad story. And this reproduction by the best band in the history of mankind ... it's so powerful. Makes me want to cry.

I believe Dei Gratia is Latin, though I'm not 100% sure on that
