Honestly, does anyone here actually think - given both the United States, China and Russia all LUCKED OUT numerous times during the cold war, that Israel and the rest of the Arab (nuclear) world, Iran , Turkey, Pakistan etc, will be sooooo lucky?

Whether over Tel Aviv , Jedda, Tehran or Ankara, it's fairly likely we'll loose at least one or more of these cities in the next 50 years so we might learn a lesson.

Well at the end of the movie when they reached Free America they did have the little caption over the screen saying that the Americans finally drove Back the Soviets and won back America. So another Red Dawn movie would pretty much be just showing the adventures of another group of guriella freedom fighters and their attacks against the Soviets. Sometimes it's better to make a good movie and not try to cash in by making a sequel.
