@Zenedarr It is not looked down upon... At the same time not looked with awe as well.. The resistance to Hindi developed in 1950s when Hindi was forced upon the people of TN.. So, first preference is always to Tamil and every other language comes next.. If you come to TN and if you don't know Tamil, the best strategy is to speak in English as almost everyone understands it. Other states in south are not like this. In Cochin, Hyd and Bangalore you can very well manage with Hindi.

this guy is right in one sense.. development in india is just concentrated in few pockets like Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore etc.. This is the root cause and UPA has utterly failed to address it.. Tax money should be equitably distributed to all states and it should be made sure that all states and all remote areas be developed equally.. Let not only the developed states grab the piece of development moneys. The question of hindi domination and promotion of other languages is controversial

@Zenedarr It is not looked down upon... At the same time not looked with awe as well.. The resistance to Hindi developed in 1950s when Hindi was forced upon the people of TN.. So, first preference is always to Tamil and every other language comes next.. If you come to TN and if you don't know Tamil, the best strategy is to speak in English as almost everyone understands it. Other states in south are not like this. In Cochin, Hyd and Bangalore you can very well manage with Hindi.

Yea i can do with hindi in b'lore.. but i do get ripped off cz i cant speak in kanada etc..The main problem is the mindset of people..Wen i say people im referin to 35-40+ age grp..all over india most of these ppl are level headed..Its not the same with ones who are our age..Whatever happens in bombay or any city is temporary...take the bomb blast for eg when something like that happens people steel their hearts n help in everyway possible regardless of the diffrences.

Part 1. This is very rare interview revealing the other side of the 'Thackrey issue' on a national television and clearly it looked like the interviewer was making a unsuccessful attempt to nail Raj. There are channels which often mutes the real speech and give their own stupid views of the issue. Like Aaj Tak, India TV, Time Now, NDTV.
